WTM Logistics · Calgary–Lloydminster · Courier
WTM Logistics moves prepared workshop consumables and small parts kits from Calgary suppliers to Lloydminster businesses. Courier delivery is a practical option for compact orders such as fittings, fasteners, replacement seals and packaged workshop supplies. Match the service to when the workshop needs the kit, rather than treating every parts purchase as heavy freight.

Check that the kit is complete before release
Ask the supplier to identify backordered lines before collection. A missing low-cost fitting can prevent an otherwise complete repair kit from being used. The buyer should decide whether to wait for the complete order or send the available pieces now.
Record the decision in the collection instruction. If only part of a purchase is being released, identify the packages authorised to travel and keep a separate reference for any later delivery. The courier should not have to decide which missing component matters most.
Allocate packages to the right work order
Several workshop jobs can use similar small components. Label cartons with the buyer’s job or department reference as well as the delivery address. This helps the receiving parts counter allocate the boxes without opening every package to identify its purpose.
A useful illustration is a workshop ordering maintenance kits for three units. Number the packages for each unit and place the packing list where the receiver can find it. WTM transports the identified packages; the workshop checks the components against its own work orders.
Decide between planned delivery and an urgent exception
Routine consumables can be collected on an agreed recurring arrangement. When a machine is waiting on one item, tell dispatch the latest useful arrival time and the supplier’s actual release time. WTM can quote a dedicated hotshot for the critical package when that service is the better fit.
Do not make the whole replenishment order urgent simply because one component is urgent. Separating the must-have item from routine stock can create a more useful transport choice, provided the supplier can release the two shipments clearly.
Keep purchasing and receiving aligned
Declare liquids, aerosols, batteries or other special contents instead of hiding them under the description workshop supplies. Many everyday parts need no special description beyond their packaging, but dispatch needs accurate information to assign the shipment correctly.
Use the WTM Customer Portal for the quote and follow the incoming packages with GPS tracking. After delivery, the POD supports the transport handoff while the packing list supports the workshop’s quantity check. They answer different questions and should remain connected to the same order.
