A collection address is more than a postal address

At a workplace, name the desk or employee holding the package. At a home, explain the collection arrangement and provide a reachable contact. A sender who is leaving for work should arrange an authorised handoff rather than assume a driver can collect from an unattended doorstep.

The person paying for delivery can be different from the person releasing the parcel. Put both contacts in the booking and make clear who answers questions about the item, access and collection timing.

Pack for the whole journey

Use a closed outer package suitable for the contents and protect items from movement inside it. Remove obsolete shipping labels so the intended Calgary destination is unambiguous. Declare fragile, heavy, temperature-sensitive or otherwise specialised contents when requesting the service.

Measure the finished package, including any protruding handle or protective case. A light but awkward item may need a different vehicle arrangement from a compact carton of the same weight. Photos can explain unusual shapes, but dimensions and weight remain useful booking information.

Choose a realistic receiving arrangement in Calgary

A tower reception, retail counter and warehouse dock have different handoffs. State the authorised receiver, unit number and receiving hours. Delivering to a company’s building does not necessarily mean the intended department has accepted the parcel.

For a personal delivery, check that the recipient will actually be at the address on the agreed date. When the recipient is travelling, a workplace or other authorised address may make more sense than a residential address nobody can access. Any change needs to be agreed before delivery.

Know what the courier quote covers

A return-direction movement is still its own shipment. WTM quotes collection, transportation and the requested delivery arrangement; an available return trip does not create an automatic free or discounted delivery. Provide any additional stop in the original request.

The WTM Customer Portal lets the booking customer request the shipment, review and approve the quote, pay online and follow live GPS tracking. Available delivery records and invoices stay associated with the shipment, including when the sender and payer are different people.

Can I arrange collection while I am in Calgary?

Yes. Give WTM the Lloydminster release contact and ensure that person knows which packed parcel is authorised for collection.

Is a box of personal belongings eligible?

Describe the contents and packaging in the quote request. WTM can confirm the courier service and any handling needs for that specific package.
