WTM Logistics · Calgary–Lloydminster · Freight hotshot
WTM Logistics arranges enclosed freight hotshot transport from Calgary to Lloydminster for accepted electrical cabinets and commissioning kits. The shipment should carry the specific unit and accessories the receiving team expects, with protection suited to its finished surfaces and components. Direct delivery can support a defined commissioning deadline without relying on routine freight consolidation.
Dedicated direct freight · 24/7 dispatch · Equipment matched to the accepted load
Verify the commissioned package before release
The supplier should identify the cabinet, job and relevant configuration reference. A visually similar unit may be intended for another project. Have the releasing team label the authorised load so the driver is not asked to interpret drawings or choose between cabinets.
List separate accessories such as mounting hardware, protected displays or boxed connection kits. Count them as transport pieces when they travel outside the main crate. The receiving contractor needs a complete shipment to begin its own checks.
Protect more than the weather-facing surface
Give dispatch the crate or pallet’s outside dimensions, weight and permitted orientation. Identify protruding parts, non-stackable surfaces and any point where securing equipment must not bear. Packaging and support should be designed by the supplier for the load being transported.
An enclosed vehicle protects against exposure during the journey, but it does not replace internal cushioning or a suitable supporting base. Describe the required handling so WTM can confirm the vehicle and loading arrangement for the accepted shipment.
Use the receiving team’s real intake point
A construction or industrial address can have a security gate, stores area and worksite with different access. Identify the authorised handoff and the unloading equipment available there. Do not assume the vehicle can drive directly to the final installation position.
A commissioning appointment may require the cabinet earlier for inspection and preparation. Give dispatch the time the team needs the goods in its control, along with the actual ready time at the Calgary supplier.
Keep transport evidence separate from technical acceptance
Follow the vehicle through the WTM Customer Portal and retain the available POD. The contractor carries out its own checks, commissioning and installation. A transport signature does not certify electrical conformity or operational readiness.
If an earlier unit must return to Calgary, obtain its separate release instruction and packed details. It may not be available when the replacement is delivered, so an immediate exchange should not be presumed in a one-way quote.
Enclosed hotshot questions
