Explain whether the deadline is essential or flexible. An urgent dedicated service may be appropriate, while another order can use planned refrigerated transportation. Comparing those options honestly is more useful than comparing prices attached to different arrival promises.

Add the temperature specification to the load details

List the transport units, measurements, weights and stacking restrictions. Give the required temperature range and identify products with different needs. Include loading and unloading equipment so the quotation does not assume a dock or forklift where none exists.

Specify any logger, report or handling record required by the receiver. The quote should establish which requirements are included. A low headline price without the needed conditions or records is not an equivalent offer.

Check the scope of the total

Ask whether the quotation includes the stated pickup, the direct journey and the agreed receiving handoff. Mention extra stops, appointment waiting or specialist handling before approval. Taxes and any applicable charges should be clear in the quoted arrangement.

Return-direction capacity does not create an automatic discount. The carrier still needs suitable refrigerated equipment and a workable collection plan in Lloydminster. Price the load you are booking, not an assumed empty vehicle returning from another customer’s job.

Use account savings without mixing the offers
