WTM Logistics · Calgary–Lloydminster · LTL
WTM Logistics arranges Lloydminster-to-Calgary LTL for accepted dismantled store fixtures, display components and packed retail equipment. Plan the freight around the load after dismantling and packaging, not the dimensions of the assembled display. The receiving business should know which fixtures and components it is authorised to accept.
Planned pallet and crate transport · Loading and receiving arrangements · Real-time GPS tracking
Agree the return before dismantling the display
Obtain the supplier’s or project owner’s return reference and destination. A warehouse may accept some components while the retailer retains others. Record that scope before the dismantling team begins packing the load.
Use a component list to identify panels, bases, shelves and separate hardware. Where parts from several displays look alike, label them by fixture reference. The carrier transports the declared pieces; the project team remains responsible for making the returned assemblies identifiable.
Protect surfaces and loose hardware
Pack panels and fragile finishes using supports appropriate to their size. Keep hardware in closed, labelled packages associated with the right fixture. Unsecured small parts should not be left resting on a wrapped pallet.
Measure every complete unit and disclose non-stackable shapes. A dismantled display can be lower than the original fixture yet occupy more floor space when panels need separate protection. Give WTM that finished packing arrangement rather than an optimistic estimate based on the assembled footprint.
Arrange collection at the actual goods exit
A retail unit may have restricted access for loading. Identify the exit, loading window and equipment available to move the packed freight to the handoff. Dismantling, carrying through customer areas and collecting freight are separate tasks unless additional handling is agreed.
At the Calgary destination, confirm the goods door and return appointment. A project office may not be the warehouse that stores fixtures. Use the location supplied by the authorised receiver rather than the address on an old sales invoice.
Record transport separately from the return assessment
The available POD documents delivery of the identified consignment. The receiving business may later inspect completeness, condition and any credit eligibility. Those decisions are not established by the courier or freight signature alone.
Use the WTM Customer Portal to approve the quotation and follow the movement with GPS tracking. Keep the BOL, POD and invoice, when issued, alongside your fixture inventory. Where several stores are returning equipment, quote all collection locations explicitly rather than assuming one return reference covers extra stops.
Fixture-return questions
Does LTL include taking displays apart?
No. Arrange dismantling and suitable packing before collection, or disclose additional handling requirements for review.
Can long display panels travel?
Provide their protected dimensions, weight and handling restrictions so WTM can confirm an appropriate accepted freight arrangement.
