WTM Logistics · Calgary–Lloydminster · Refrigerated hotshot
WTM Logistics arranges refrigerated hotshot delivery of accepted packaged chilled-meat consignments from Lloydminster to Calgary commercial receivers. The movement should follow the supplier's written transport requirements and the receiving business's intake instructions. Identify the exact consignment and appointment before planning a dedicated collection.

Get acceptance from the receiving business
Confirm the Calgary address, receiving door, appointment and reference the processor or buyer expects. Do not send a load to a general business address without checking whether that location accepts the product. The receiver’s agreement is a separate step from obtaining a transport quotation.
Keep product approvals, traceability and commercial documentation with the responsible food businesses. The courier’s role is the agreed carriage and handoff, not product inspection or certification.
Describe the packaged load precisely
Provide the number of sealed cartons, totes or pallets, their outside dimensions and gross weights. State the orientation and stacking instructions. Packaging should be appropriate for the product and prevent leakage or damage during normal handling.
Identify product and batch references in the supplier’s paperwork, while giving each outer transport unit a clear shipment reference. A receiver checking a lot needs the product documentation; a driver checking a collection needs the transport piece count. Both are important, but they are not interchangeable.
Use the required transport condition
Give the supplier’s chilled requirement in writing. Do not assume a frozen service or a generic ambient vehicle is equivalent. Disclose any temperature logger, reading or report the receiver requires so the collection and delivery plan can address it.
The products should be prepared for transportation before the vehicle arrives. Direct delivery should not be presented as a substitute for the sender’s product preparation or the destination’s safe receiving process.
Make the deadline operationally meaningful
A processor may have a narrow intake window for an agreed delivery. State that deadline along with the release time in Lloydminster. WTM can assess the direct movement using the actual addresses, equipment and appointment rather than an unqualified city-to-city promise.
Follow GPS location through the WTM Customer Portal and retain the available POD. The food business completes its own receiving and product checks. Any later return or redirected delivery requires an authorised instruction and a separately suitable transport arrangement.
