WTM Logistics · Calgary–Lloydminster · Courier

WTM Logistics transports prepared product samples from Lloydminster businesses to Calgary buyers, showrooms and purchasing offices. Courier service suits accepted non-perishable sample kits, small demonstration pieces and material swatches. Keep the samples linked to the buyer's review so the delivery becomes usable evidence for a purchasing decision rather than an unidentified parcel.

Give every sample a recognisable reference

Label the samples using the product or project identifiers the buyer knows. Include a list of the samples and the purpose of the review. A courier tracking reference identifies the shipment, but it does not replace the product names the buyer needs for evaluation.

Separate retained samples from loaned items. When a demonstration piece must come back, state that in the supplier’s paperwork and keep a record of its condition before packing. The return transport can be arranged once the review is complete.

Pack to preserve the useful features

A sample must arrive in a condition that lets the buyer assess it. Protect finished surfaces, edges and other features the review depends on. Use internal supports where the sample’s shape makes movement inside a carton likely.

Measure the packed unit rather than the unprotected sample. A lightweight panel can still occupy considerable vehicle space when it cannot be stacked. Tell WTM about orientation, unusual dimensions or special contents before selecting the service.

Deliver before the review, not merely on its date

Ask when the buyer needs the package for preparation. An office may receive goods through a mailroom before they reach a purchasing desk. State the authorised handoff and the review deadline separately so the quote addresses both.

For example, several non-food material swatches might travel to a Calgary design office ahead of a supplier meeting. The office contact can check the pack list in advance and raise missing-sample questions before the discussion begins. The courier’s role is the agreed transport, not the product assessment.

Keep any onward movement explicit

The buyer may want to retain the samples, send them to another authorised reviewer or return them to Lloydminster. Treat each onward movement as a separate instruction with its own receiving address and release permission. Do not assume it is included in the original quote.

The WTM Customer Portal helps the booking customer follow the active shipment and retrieve the available POD and invoice. Keep those records linked to your sample list and buyer correspondence. That separation preserves both the commercial evidence and the transport record.

Sample shipment questions

Can a fragile product sample travel by courier?

Describe its packaging, dimensions and handling needs. WTM can match an accepted shipment to suitable equipment.

Does this cover chilled food samples?

Temperature-sensitive samples need a temperature-controlled booking. Disclose their requirements rather than placing them in an ordinary sample-parcel request.

Manage transport without losing the paperwork

Your WTM Customer Portal supports new requests, quote review and approval, online payment, live GPS tracking and historical shipment records. Issued BOLs, PODs and invoices stay accessible with the movement they document.

Open the WTM Customer Portal. New customers can request access at admin@wtmlogistics.com.

Ready to move your shipment? Send WTM the collection and delivery addresses, packed load, ready time and required arrival. Include temperature or special-handling requirements where applicable.
