WTM Logistics · Calgary refrigerated delivery
WTM Logistics arranges refrigerated food-sample delivery from Calgary producers to Edmonton buyers and commercial evaluation appointments. A compact box can represent a new customer opportunity. Make the sample identity, temperature instruction and receiving contact clear so the delivery supports the buyer discussion rather than delaying it.

Book around the buyer's receiving appointment
Confirm whether the samples belong at an office, test kitchen or another commercial facility. Give the department, buyer's name and a backup contact. The company headquarters may not be the place where products will be evaluated.
Tell WTM when the samples can be released in Calgary and when the Edmonton receiver needs them. A tasting appointment may require delivery earlier so the buyer can receive and organise the product. The agreed service should account for that window.
Make the samples distinguishable
Use a producer or sales reference on the outside of the consignment and include the buyer's expected product information. When there are several variants, the shipment should be organised before handoff. The courier should not open retail sample packaging to identify which product belongs to whom.
List transport conditions for the actual sample group. Chilled and frozen samples are not automatically one compatible shipment. State any handling or reporting requirements in advance so the appropriate service can be quoted.
Use the existing route with a specific commercial purpose
WTM's Calgary-to-Edmonton refrigerated service provides the broader route connection. This booking adds the product-launch or purchasing appointment requirements. Provide the finished box measurements, gross weight and any non-stackable packaging.
Do not promise the buyer arrival from a road-time estimate alone. The collection release, vehicle assignment and receiving arrangement all matter. Same-day or accepted scheduled services should be identified in the quote for the actual consignment.
Keep the transport evidence separate from evaluation results
GPS tracking helps follow the movement and the POD confirms the handoff. Neither tells the producer how a tasting went or whether the buyer accepted a product for sale. The sales team can use the delivery confirmation as a starting point for its own follow-up.
Retain the quote, invoice and issued records in the WTM Customer Portal. For subsequent sampling rounds, refer to shipment history but update the products and current buyer instructions. This service concerns commercial food evaluation, not clinical specimen transport.
Manage the shipment through your Customer Portal
Request a new shipment, review and approve the quote, and pay online in the WTM Customer Portal. Follow the delivery with real-time GPS tracking and find issued BOLs, PODs, invoices and previous shipments in your account.
