WTM Logistics · Calgary–Lloydminster · LTL

WTM Logistics transports accepted crated restaurant equipment from Calgary to Lloydminster by LTL when the delivery can use planned freight capacity. A replacement appliance, preparation unit or packaged fixture needs both a suitable transport base and a practical receiving arrangement. Quote the crate and the complete handoff rather than only the equipment model.

Get shipping dimensions from the seller

Ask for the external crate or pallet measurements and gross weight. Include any accessory carton travelling separately. Product dimensions on a sales page may exclude packaging, a skid or parts projecting beyond the main unit.

The seller should identify the permitted orientation, lifting arrangement and any stacking restrictions. WTM uses those details to plan suitable transportation. A carton marked restaurant equipment does not say whether it can be stacked, tipped or moved through a narrow doorway.

Decide where freight delivery ends

Give the Lloydminster receiving entrance and explain the available unloading equipment. A shopfront without a dock may need a tailgate arrangement. Moving the equipment off the truck is not automatically moving it through the building or positioning it for installation.

Measure access with the responsible receiving team where clearances are important. The delivery driver should not have to discover that an unopened crate cannot pass the chosen entrance while the equipment is blocking a customer area.

Keep delivery and installation schedules distinct

Ask when the site can receive the crate, which may be earlier than the installer’s appointment. Plan space to hold the accepted equipment between those events. WTM confirms the freight service; the installer manages its own technical work and commissioning.

If the replacement has become urgently necessary, discuss a freight hotshot instead of assuming a routine LTL quotation guarantees a dedicated deadline. Urgency and unloading method are separate parts of the decision.

Plan any old-equipment removal as a different load

The existing unit may need disconnection, preparation and packaging by the responsible personnel. Its weight, contents and destination can differ from the replacement’s. Do not assume an incoming equipment shipment includes an immediate return collection.

Use the Customer Portal to approve the quote, arrange payment and follow GPS tracking. Keep the issued transport documents with the equipment purchase. A delivery record confirms the handoff; it does not certify the unit’s suitability, warranty or operation.

Restaurant freight questions

Can LTL carry one crated item?

Yes. Provide its actual packed measurements and handling needs so WTM can quote the appropriate freight arrangement.

Is a refrigerator transported as refrigerated cargo?

An unpowered equipment shipment and temperature-sensitive food are different requirements. Describe exactly what is being carried and any conditions it needs.

From request to delivery record

Use your WTM Customer Portal to submit the load details, approve the quoted service and make payment. Follow location updates with real-time GPS tracking, then find available shipment documents and invoices in the same account.

WTM offers 10% off recurring shipments. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. The applicable offer is confirmed with your quote; the two offers are not automatically combined.

Open the WTM Customer Portal. New customers can request access at admin@wtmlogistics.com.

Ready to move your shipment? Send WTM the collection and delivery addresses, packed load, ready time and required arrival. Include temperature or special-handling requirements where applicable.
