WTM Logistics · Calgary–Fort McMurray · Northbound
WTM provides refrigerated courier transportation for prepared produce orders from Calgary to Fort McMurray restaurants and food businesses. Build the request around the product mix, package design and receiving window. The aim is to deliver the agreed consignment into the buyer’s control, not simply move boxes labelled “fresh” between two cities.

Give the product mix, not just the total weight
Identify the produce groups and the supplier’s required transport conditions. Do not assume all fruit, vegetables and herbs require the same temperature or tolerate the same handling. The supplier should identify incompatible groups before the vehicle is selected.
Provide case dimensions, packed weights and stacking restrictions. Avoid placing delicate products beneath cases that can damage them. The shipping description should show the final packed order rather than an estimated shopping list that changes at collection.
Prepare a clean release and receiving reference
The Calgary supplier should confirm the collection entrance, release number and ready time. Keep the buyer’s order reference associated with each package group. If a consignment is split across customers, identify their allocations before loading.
An illustration is a distributor preparing separate labelled case sets for two restaurant kitchens. The quotation needs both receiving addresses and windows. One purchase order does not make two kitchen handoffs a single delivery.
Match delivery to the kitchen’s receiving capacity
Ask the restaurant which person can receive and where the goods enter. A dining-room entrance and the kitchen’s goods access may differ. Arrange for the receiver to handle the product according to its own storage and checking procedures.
State whether the delivery supports routine stock or a dated function. The kitchen’s preparation deadline may be earlier than the event. WTM can assess the appropriate refrigerated service when both supplier readiness and that actual deadline are known.
Scale the arrangement with the order
A small prepared order may suit a refrigerated Sprinter. Several pallets or a heavier wholesale shipment may call for refrigerated LTL or larger equipment. Describe changes before the quote is approved so the selected service remains a good fit.
Use the Customer Portal to retain quotes, invoices and PODs against the buyer’s order. Product inspections and supplier traceability records remain the businesses’ responsibility; the transport record supports them without replacing them. Request your refrigerated quote with the product instructions and the actual restaurant receiving window.
A customer account built around your deliveries
The WTM Customer Portal supports new shipment requests, quote review and approval, online payments and real-time GPS tracking. Access issued BOLs, PODs, invoices and shipment history through the same account. New customers can request access from admin@wtmlogistics.com.
Save 10% on recurring shipments under the applicable arrangement. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Ask which offer applies to your quote; the two are not automatically combined.
