Move an approved refrigerated stock transfer from a Fort McMurray branch to a Calgary location with WTM. The sending and receiving businesses should agree which sealed products can move and the transport conditions they require. Courier service then connects those two decisions through an identified collection, controlled movement and receiving handoff.

Approve the stock list before arranging transport

Have the stock owner identify product references, quantities and the destination allocation. Confirm that the Calgary branch agrees to receive the transfer. A transport booking is not authorisation to move products that the receiving business cannot accept.

Keep product dates, lot references and the business’s condition records with the transfer. WTM does not determine whether the goods should be sold or whether a product-quality concern has been resolved. The owner makes those decisions before release.

Separate incompatible conditions

List the required transport conditions for each product group. A mixed stock adjustment can include chilled, frozen and ambient products, but those descriptions do not establish that everything can travel together under one setting.

Provide final package dimensions and gross weights. Use sealed, transport-ready containers with clear labels. Disclose leaking, damaged or otherwise unusual packages rather than treating a branch-transfer reference as approval for every item on the list.

Arrange both loading and receiving

The Fort McMurray branch needs a contact who can release the prepared cartons at the agreed time. The Calgary branch needs someone ready to receive them and arrange the appropriate storage. Coordinate around the actual goods entrances, not only shop opening hours.

For an illustrative transfer, a business may send a modest number of sealed cases to fill an approved order at another branch. Label the transfer number consistently so the Calgary team records the goods against that movement instead of treating them as a new supplier purchase.

Keep the transport evidence distinct

The Customer Portal provides quote approval, payment handling and issued shipment documents. GPS tracks where the vehicle is; any required temperature report must be specified separately. Retain the POD alongside the internal stock-transfer record.

For repeat interbranch moves, share the usual volumes and receiving pattern with WTM. A small carton order may suit refrigerated courier, while palletised stock requires a refrigerated freight assessment. Request the service after the stock list and receiving approval are settled.

Make repeat shipments easier to organise

Keep requests, approved quotes, online payments and historical shipments together in the WTM Customer Portal. Follow deliveries with real-time GPS tracking and retrieve issued BOLs, PODs and invoices when needed. New customers can request an account invitation from admin@wtmlogistics.com.

Save 10% on recurring shipments under the applicable arrangement. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Ask which offer applies to your quote; the two are not automatically combined.
