WTM Logistics · Calgary–Fort McMurray · Northbound
WTM provides refrigerated courier transportation for frozen dessert orders moving from Calgary to Fort McMurray. Ice cream, frozen pastries and other prepared retail packs need the product’s specified frozen transport conditions, not simply a vehicle described as “cool.” Coordinate the supplier release and freezer receiving so the delivery supports the order from collection to handoff.

Describe the product as it will travel
Give the item description, package count, packed dimensions and gross weight. Identify upright cartons, crush-sensitive presentation packs and any restriction on stacking. A small order can still occupy significant protected space if the packages cannot support another layer.
Ask the producer for the required transport conditions and provide them with the quote request. Do not assume every dessert uses the same instruction. Refrigeration, packaging and the product’s condition at collection are related decisions, not interchangeable solutions.
Collect a prepared frozen order
Have the supplier make the shipment transport-ready before the collection window. Vehicle refrigeration is not a substitute for completing the producer’s freezing or preparation process. WTM should receive the goods in the condition specified for transportation.
Keep order identification and the supplier’s product records with the consignment. If several buyers’ orders are combined, allocate cartons before loading and give dispatch a complete stop list. Each receiver needs to know which part of the shipment belongs to it.
Make freezer receiving part of the appointment
Name the Fort McMurray contact who can accept the delivery and move it into the buyer’s intended storage. An unattended loading door is not a complete receiving plan for frozen goods. Coordinate an alternative authorised contact where the usual receiver may be unavailable.
State whether the delivery location is a restaurant, retail shop or separate warehouse. A purchasing office address may not have the facilities or authority to accept the frozen order. Resolve the destination before the shipment is accepted.
Plan repeat demand without assuming every week is identical
For recurring work, provide the usual carton count and note seasonal changes or additional stops. WTM can quote the applicable refrigerated courier arrangement or discuss refrigerated LTL when the order grows into pallets.
Use the portal for requests, quote approval and payment, then match the delivery document to the buyer’s order reference. GPS visibility shows location; any required temperature record needs to be specified in the accepted service. Request your quote with both the product instruction and the freezer receiving window.
A customer account built around your deliveries
The WTM Customer Portal supports new shipment requests, quote review and approval, online payments and real-time GPS tracking. Access issued BOLs, PODs, invoices and shipment history through the same account. New customers can request access from admin@wtmlogistics.com.
Save 10% on recurring shipments under the applicable arrangement. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Ask which offer applies to your quote; the two are not automatically combined.
