State when the goods will be ready and the latest useful delivery time. A quote for collection tomorrow is not directly comparable with one for a vehicle that must collect this evening. Keep additional stops and special handling in the same written brief.
Ask which service the price actually buys
Planned parcel transportation and dedicated hotshot are not interchangeable promises. A direct vehicle assignment can be appropriate for a deadline-critical package, while another order may fit a scheduled courier arrangement. Ask which option is included and when the delivery is expected.
Also distinguish delivery to a staffed entrance from extra handling inside a building. Stairs, waiting for an appointment or carrying an awkward package may change the job. Disclose those facts before comparing the totals.
Treat the return direction as a real booking
A vehicle returning towards Calgary is not evidence of a free return trip or a fixed backhaul tariff. Collection still needs coordination and suitable capacity. WTM quotes the available service for your request rather than assuming an unrelated northbound delivery pays for it.
For illustration, a compact box at a Lloydminster parts counter and a bulky case at a rural address are different collections even if both are going to Calgary. Their vehicle and handoff requirements may differ, so a one-line city-to-city comparison can be misleading.
