A commercial laundry stoppage can affect much more than the machine awaiting repair. WTM provides Calgary-to-Fort-McMurray hotshot transport for prepared laundry-equipment parts needed by service technicians. Confirm the exact replacement package and the receiving appointment so the shipment supports the repair team’s work rather than becoming another incomplete order.

Have the technician specify the repair package

The supplier and technician should confirm the equipment model, part revision and associated items. A control, seal or drive component may need additional hardware. WTM transports the ordered package; it does not diagnose the fault or select a substitute.

Label the shipment with the service reference and identify separate cartons. An accompanying small bag of fittings should be secured and recorded rather than left loose on top of the main package.

Use the real supplier release time

Ask when the Calgary order will be inspected, packed and available at the shipping entrance. If a part is being transferred between branches, use the location where WTM can actually collect it. The supplier’s retail address may not be the release warehouse.

Give dispatch a reachable release contact. For evening or weekend collection, the supplier must arrange authorised access. A dedicated vehicle cannot solve a locked collection point simply by arriving sooner.

Deliver to the receiving team that can use the part

The repair technician may need the order at a service desk, loading area or agreed site entrance. Confirm the actual handoff rather than automatically using the accommodation property’s guest reception.

State when the technician needs the part in hand. Receiving and checking the package can take place before installation begins. WTM can assess an urgent direct arrangement, while the technician remains responsible for repair, testing and safe return to service.

Match larger parts to the handling plan

Provide packed weight and dimensions, including crates or protective cases. A heavy drive unit may need loading equipment even when a boxed electronic control does not. Identify a dockless destination and any tailgate requirement while obtaining the quote.

Use the portal to review the transport proposal, arrange payment and follow the shipment. Retain the POD with the service reference so operations and accounts can identify the delivery. Request the complete prepared repair package—not just the first component that appears available.

Keep the receiving team and accounts connected

Use the WTM Customer Portal to manage the request, quote approval and online payment. GPS visibility supports receiving coordination, while issued BOLs, PODs and invoices provide records for operations and accounts. Access previous shipments without rebuilding the history through email.

Save 10% on recurring shipments under the applicable arrangement. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Ask which offer applies to your quote; the two are not automatically combined.

Frequently asked questions

Will the driver install or test the replacement part?

No. The technician handles diagnosis, installation and testing; WTM provides the agreed transport and handling.

Can a small control component use hotshot?

Yes. Urgency can justify dedicated transport for a small accepted package as well as larger equipment.

Arrange your hotshot shipment with WTM Logistics. Send the actual collection and delivery locations, packed load details and required timing.
