WTM Logistics · Calgary–Red Deer · Northbound

WTM can quote Calgary to Red Deer LTL transportation of appropriately crated, non-stackable display cabinets. The freight occupies space that cannot necessarily be shared vertically, and its handling needs may differ from an ordinary wrapped pallet. State that restriction at the start so the capacity and unloading plan match the actual cabinet order.

Use the crate’s full dimensions

Measure the external length, width and height, including protective projections and its transport base. Record gross weight and label the no-stack requirement clearly. The cabinet’s catalogue dimensions may omit the material protecting it on the road.

Non-stackable is a transport restriction, not merely a note about a delicate finish. WTM needs to know whether anything can be placed above the unit and how it can be handled safely as prepared by the sender.

Protect glass, doors and removable pieces

Follow the supplier’s packaging procedure for fragile surfaces and components. Secure removable shelves and hardware inside suitable packaging and identify any separate accessory cartons. The sender should prepare the cabinet so its moving parts are not free to shift during the trip.

The driver transports the accepted package; it should not be necessary to dismantle the display or invent new internal supports during collection. Any assembly, unpacking or installation service must be requested separately.

Match the offload to the receiving premises

A retailer may have no freight dock, and a cabinet’s crate may not fit the customer entrance. Confirm the vehicle handoff point, door clearances relevant to the agreed service and the available unloading equipment.

If a tailgate is requested, supply the gross weight, footprint and receiving-surface details. Ground-level unloading does not automatically include moving the cabinet into position on the shop floor or disposing of its crate.

Compare quotes for the same restrictions

Provide every carrier with the same prepared dimensions, no-stack condition and handling requirement. A price for stackable general freight is not a useful comparison with an order that reserves different usable space.

Give the buyer’s receiving window and any installation deadline separately. LTL can suit a planned fixture delivery, while an exclusive urgent movement may need a different service. After receipt, retain the POD with the supplier’s order and the receiver’s own condition-check record.

Can a single display cabinet move by LTL?

Submit the crated specification for review. Suitability depends on the size, weight, packaging, capacity and handling requirements, not only the number of items.

Does no-stack mean the freight needs an entire truck?

Not automatically. It identifies a capacity restriction to assess. WTM can quote the appropriate LTL or dedicated arrangement for the prepared load.

Quote the cabinet as the protected, non-stackable freight it actually is—not just its bare product weight.

Connect the pallets with the paperwork

The WTM Customer Portal brings requests, quotes, approvals and online payments together. Follow active shipments with real-time GPS and find issued BOLs, PODs, invoices and previous freight orders when operations or accounts needs the record.

Regular shippers can ask about 10% off recurring shipments. A prepaid credit account is a separate option with up to 25% off eligible services. The two offers are not automatically combined.
