If pallets differ, list them separately. Three identical-looking loads can have different weights or handling needs. Clear measurements help WTM choose suitable capacity and avoid a quote based on an incomplete description.
Establish the loading and receiving methods
State whether the Calgary origin has a dock or forklift and what is available at the Red Deer destination. A loading dock at one end does not solve a ground-level delivery at the other. Request a compatible tailgate arrangement where needed.

Use a shipment reference that connects the order, prepared load and receiving contact. Review the issued bill of lading and other shipment documents against the actual package or pallet details. Notify dispatch of changes before collection.
After delivery, save the POD and invoice with the commercial order. GPS tracking provides visibility while the load is moving; the receiving team still carries out its own count and condition checks at the handoff.
