WTM can arrange Innisfail or Olds to Calgary LTL transportation of authorised, properly prepared repair-core returns. A service business sending used assemblies back to a supplier should identify the actual condition, contents and handling requirements before booking. These returns are not automatically equivalent to new components travelling in clean original packaging.

Obtain the supplier’s return reference

Confirm which units the receiver has approved and whether it requires a specific packaging or intake procedure. Include the receiving address and department that accepts the cores rather than relying on the supplier’s sales-office location.

Record the model, asset or core reference in your own inventory and use a transport identifier that connects the load to the return authorisation. The courier does not determine whether the core qualifies for a credit.

Prepare used components under the correct procedure

The sender should make the goods suitable for transport according to its technical and supplier instructions. Disclose residual fluids, batteries, contamination or any other special content or condition for transport review. Do not present a used assembly as an empty metal part unless that is an accurate description.

Place the prepared units on suitable stable bases or in appropriate containers. Secure loose parts, protect projections and provide the final loaded measurements and gross weights. The condition of the package matters as well as the component itself.

Align the collection and loading resources

Specify the actual workshop in Innisfail or Olds, its release contact and the ready time. Confirm loading equipment and any access restrictions. A return waiting behind other equipment in a service bay is not necessarily ready for a pallet collection.

At the Calgary end, establish the receiving appointment and unloading resources. Request a compatible tailgate or other handling arrangement when needed rather than relying on the equipment that happened to deliver the new part previously.

Separate transport receipt from credit approval

Retain the POD and WTM invoice with the return authorisation. They help establish that the identified freight was handed over, while the supplier’s inspection determines its condition and credit eligibility.

For repeated core returns, maintain a normal preparation and shipment process but update the actual load every time. A different assembly, packaging base or condition can change the transport requirement, even when the supplier and route are unchanged.

Can several repair cores share one pallet?

Only when prepared securely under the applicable requirements and fully described for review. Provide the combined dimensions, weight and unit inventory.

Will a POD guarantee the core credit?

No. It records the transport handoff. Credit depends on the supplier’s own return and inspection terms.

Confirm the core acceptance, prepare the actual used load and let WTM assess the southbound LTL movement.

Connect the pallets with the paperwork

The WTM Customer Portal brings requests, quotes, approvals and online payments together. Follow active shipments with real-time GPS and find issued BOLs, PODs, invoices and previous freight orders when operations or accounts needs the record.

Regular shippers can ask about 10% off recurring shipments. A prepaid credit account is a separate option with up to 25% off eligible services. The two offers are not automatically combined.
