WTM’s 24/7 dispatch can arrange a Lethbridge to Calgary hotshot for released commercial-fleet repair parts outside ordinary business hours. The shipment might be a packaged replacement component from a supplier or a unit travelling to a Calgary repairer. The booking moves the goods; it is not a roadside-repair or vehicle-towing service.

Dedicated direct transport · 24/7 dispatch · GPS tracking

Evening handoff of a boxed fleet-repair component beside a WTM enclosed cargo van.

Secure the supplier release before making the trip urgent

Out-of-hours transport still needs someone authorised to hand over the consignment. Confirm the supplier’s contact, pickup point, release reference and agreed availability. A locked counter with no release plan cannot be treated as a normal daytime collection.

Where the supplier arranges another authorised handoff location, give those details to WTM before acceptance. Keep responsibility for keys, access and release permission clear rather than expecting a driver to improvise entry into closed premises.

Name the Calgary receiver on the repair shift

Ask who is receiving at the workshop or fleet facility and when that person will be available. The public service desk may be closed while authorised maintenance staff remain on site. Use the receiving team’s actual instructions for gate access and unloading.

State when the component is needed for the repair plan. A vehicle’s hoped-for departure time and the useful delivery deadline may differ. The maintenance team controls repair and release of the vehicle; the courier confirms its transport commitment only.

Prepare the components for the assigned vehicle

Provide packed weights, dimensions and piece counts. Secure fragile sensors, protect projecting fittings and support heavier parts appropriately. Disclose batteries, fluids and other special transport conditions so dispatch can assess the actual load.

For example, a fleet may need one released control component tonight while ordinary maintenance stock follows later. Quoting the essential part separately helps connect the hotshot to the repair requirement without assuming every item must travel by the same service.

Keep the final handoff documented

Use the fleet’s repair reference with the shipment and nominate the authorised receiver. Real-time GPS tracking can help the booking customer follow progress; the POD records completion after the handoff. The delivery record is not a technical confirmation that the vehicle is ready for service.

Check 511 Alberta for current highway information when planning an out-of-hours trip. A live road-information source is more useful than treating a static corridor travel time as a guarantee in every condition.

After-hours questions

Is dispatch available on weekends?

Yes. The shipment still needs an accepted collection and receiving arrangement for the requested movement.

Can a repaired core return later?

Yes. Book it when ready using its own condition, packaging, destination and service requirement.
