A multi-stop courier arrangement from Lethbridge toward Cranbrook can serve several prepared customer orders on one planned delivery round. WTM Logistics can review the stop list, package allocations and receiving windows so the courier job reflects the actual route rather than a collection of last-minute address changes.

This is a planned courier service. A critical shipment requiring direct hotshot transport should be booked separately instead of being described as one more stop on the same urgent run.

Build the stop manifest before asking for a price

List each delivery address, recipient, contact number, package count and reference. Assign every carton to a stop. A manifest should let someone identify where a package belongs without opening it or asking the supplier to remember its contents.

If one customer has several branches, use the branch address rather than the company’s general billing address. Include any order-specific receiving restrictions such as a staffed counter or a delivery window.

Arrange the supplier’s collection staging

Ask the Lethbridge supplier to group prepared orders by recipient and identify the total number of packages. Provide a contact who can resolve a difference before the shipment leaves. A manifest listing ten cartons should be reconciled with the ten cartons actually released.

When an order is missing, decide whether the remaining deliveries should proceed. Record the exception. Do not leave the driver to determine whether holding the entire round is commercially preferable to releasing the available goods.

Sequence for receiving, not only geography

The shortest sequence is not always the workable sequence when recipients have different opening hours. Give WTM the real constraints so the proposed arrangement can be confirmed before dispatch.

For illustration, one recipient may accept only at a morning counter while another operates a later staffed receiving window. Those instructions belong in the route request. Adding them after the vehicle has left can turn an achievable plan into a different job.

Close each customer order separately

Keep references distinct so the delivery record for one stop cannot be mistaken for completion of the entire round. A merchant needs to know which order reached which receiver, not just that the vehicle finished travelling along the corridor.

Use shipment records and available PODs to match completed handoffs to customer orders. Discuss the recording arrangement with WTM at booking when multiple stops are managed under one commercial account.

Can an extra stop be added after collection?

Contact WTM for confirmation. An additional address, package or receiving requirement may change the timing and price, so it should not be assumed to be included.

Can one order travel ahead of the rest?

Yes. Request a separate direct service for the critical order and keep its release and delivery instructions distinct from the planned courier round.

Send WTM the complete stop manifest and turn several customer deliveries into one organised courier request.

A clearer handoff for your operations team

Use the WTM Customer Portal to request collection and review the proposed service before approving the quote. Pay online, follow the shipment with real-time GPS, and find the available BOL, POD and invoice with the shipment record instead of searching through separate email conversations.

Regular shippers can discuss 10% off recurring shipments. Funded credit accounts separately offer up to 25% off eligible services. The applicable offer is shown with your account arrangement and quote; the discounts are not combined.
