WTM Logistics · Calgary refrigerated delivery
WTM Logistics arranges refrigerated delivery of packaged chilled meat orders between Calgary suppliers, butcher shops and business receivers. Send the finished shipment description, required transport temperature and receiving instructions with the request. That lets the delivery be planned around a released order rather than an unspecified collection of food.

Identify a packaged order ready for release
Give the supplier's order reference, carton or tote count and gross weight. Describe whether the consignment consists of sealed retail packs, boxed wholesale products or other prepared packages. This article concerns packaged goods, not livestock transport, processing or an unplanned collection from a production line.
The product owner should provide the shipping condition and temperature instruction. Chilled and frozen orders should be clearly distinguished, even when both come from the same supplier. An invoice description such as “meat order” is not sufficient equipment information.
Keep separate orders identifiable
For deliveries to several restaurants, prepare distinct outer packages for each receiving business. Add the restaurant's trading name and the order reference that its kitchen expects. The name on the building may differ from the company that purchased the goods.
Packaging should contain the product and remain suitable for handling. Inform dispatch about containers that must remain upright, cannot be stacked or require separate handling from other goods. Those requirements belong in the quotation rather than being discovered after collection.
Arrange the receiving handoff before the vehicle leaves
A kitchen may have limited space and a designated receiving door. Confirm access, a contact and the available time window. The aim is to move the cartons into the receiver's control promptly, without leaving the driver to find someone through the dining room.
When a buyer orders from a supplier on someone else's account, verify who authorises release and who pays the transport quote. Keeping those roles clear avoids a collection being held up by an unresolved order.
Create a reliable wholesale routine
A butcher or distributor with predictable restaurant orders can discuss recurring refrigerated deliveries with WTM. Provide the normal pattern plus the way additional orders will be communicated. During busy trading periods, update the package count before the collection rather than treating extra cartons as an invisible change.
Use GPS tracking to follow the journey and retain the POD with the associated order. Product acceptance and any internal quality checks remain part of the receiver's process; transportation documentation supports that process without replacing it.
