WTM Logistics · Calgary–Red Deer · Southbound

WTM can arrange Red Deer to Calgary frozen LTL for prepared packaged-food pallets. The southbound booking needs a clear frozen-product instruction, measured freight and a buyer ready to accept the load into its own cold-receiving process. It is a freight-capacity decision as well as a temperature requirement, so do not price it as ordinary dry pallets with a note added later.

Define the frozen load and its compatibility

List the product groups and their required transport conditions. Give the number of pallets, loaded dimensions, gross weights and stacking restrictions. State any other handling or segregation requirement supplied by the food business.

The CFIA preventive-control reference describes conveyances maintaining conditions appropriate for food and recording where necessary. For the booking, that means providing the product specification and agreeing any required evidence rather than assuming every refrigerated load is handled identically.

Prepare pallets for the agreed movement

Secure the packaged order on suitable bases and follow the supplier’s own load-preparation process. Identify airflow or loading constraints, projecting packages and any pallet that cannot be stacked. The goods should already be in the condition required for transport when released.

A vehicle’s refrigeration system is not a request to finish freezing the product during the journey. Production preparation and transport maintenance are different parts of the food business’s plan.

Book the Calgary intake window

Confirm the buyer’s receiving address, appointment and capacity. Provide the unloading resources and name the person responsible for the cold handoff. A general warehouse address is not sufficient when the order requires a particular receiving dock or department.

If more than one Calgary receiver is involved, supply separate allocations and windows. The equipment and route need to be reviewed for the complete arrangement, including the different handoffs.

Keep the freight and product evidence aligned

Retain product identity, batch records and acceptance documents in the businesses’ own systems. WTM’s issued BOL, POD and invoice record the transportation side. Additional temperature-reporting requirements should be agreed before collection.

The Customer Portal gives the booking account access to its transport records and live GPS visibility. A GPS map does not demonstrate the product’s internal condition, so request the required cold-chain information separately where necessary.

Can frozen and ambient pallets share the same quotation?

Describe each group and its requirements. WTM confirms whether a suitable transport arrangement can accommodate the complete order; compatibility is not assumed.

Is a return-direction frozen shipment automatically cheaper?

No. Its price follows the accepted equipment, capacity, handling and timing. Compare the actual service rather than an assumed discounted backhaul.

Give WTM the frozen pallet specification and receiving window for a complete Calgary-bound freight proposal.

Connect the pallets with the paperwork

The WTM Customer Portal brings requests, quotes, approvals and online payments together. Follow active shipments with real-time GPS and find issued BOLs, PODs, invoices and previous freight orders when operations or accounts needs the record.

For repeat deliveries, WTM offers 10% off recurring shipments. Funded account credit separately offers up to 25% off eligible services; the applicable arrangement is shown in your quote.
