WTM Logistics · LTL · Northbound
WTM arranges Lethbridge to Calgary LTL freight for prepared palletised business orders. Consolidating compatible goods before collection can turn several small orders into a clearly identified freight consignment. The important detail is what the receiving business will accept: the packed pallets, their references and the booked delivery arrangement.
Shared-capacity pallet freight · Agreed unloading · Shipment documents
Consolidate only goods that belong together
Orders for one Calgary receiving address can be prepared together while retaining their purchase references. If several customers or delivery addresses are involved, identify them separately and quote the actual stop requirements. One pallet label should not conceal several unplanned deliveries.
Have the shipper decide which goods can safely share a pallet. Protect the load, keep labels accessible and avoid mixing incompatible transport conditions. The courier or freight driver is not responsible for building a pallet from loose stock unless that work has been expressly arranged.
Use the finished pallet dimensions
Measure after the load has been assembled and secured. Add the pallet’s weight and packaging to the product weight, and state any overhang or stacking restriction. If one order increases the pallet height, update the quote before collection.
For illustration, a Lethbridge supplier could combine several ready customer order lines for one Calgary warehouse into two labelled pallets. The warehouse can reconcile those pallets with the packing list, while the individual sales references remain available for its internal receiving process.
Set readiness and receiving as separate milestones
A consolidated load cannot leave until the agreed goods are actually ready. Decide whether a late item should hold the entire consignment or move separately. That decision belongs with the customer and shipper before WTM confirms the pickup.
At the Calgary end, obtain the warehouse appointment or receiving window and its unloading requirements. A buyer’s office may not be the freight receiving location. Use the address where the pallets should physically arrive.
Compare shared freight with the cost of waiting
If a critical line cannot wait for consolidation, ask about a separate hotshot movement. The remaining goods can still use an accepted LTL arrangement. This comparison is about the customer’s deadlines, not an unsupported claim that one service is always cheaper.
WTM’s portal provides access to quote decisions, issued freight documents and shipment history. Use those records to review actual shipments, and keep the current pallet description accurate whenever the order changes.
Northbound LTL questions
Can the Calgary buyer arrange collection from my Lethbridge warehouse?
Yes. Provide the shipper’s release authorisation and the actual packed freight details.
Is the return-direction price automatically the same as southbound?
No assumption is made. The actual load, dates, handling and available service determine the quote for each direction.
Keep the quote, pallet details and paperwork together
Manage your LTL request, quote approval and payment through the WTM Customer Portal. Track the shipment with real-time GPS visibility and find issued BOLs, PODs, invoices and historical shipments in your account. Update the packed load whenever quantities, dimensions or receiving requirements change.
Save 10% on recurring shipments. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Ask WTM which arrangement applies to your quote; the two offers are not combined.
Open the WTM Customer Portal. New customers can request an invitation at admin@wtmlogistics.com.
Book the shipment your business needs moved. Send WTM the route, packed load and required timing for a service-specific quote.
