WTM Logistics · Courier · Northbound
WTM can transport packed clothing orders and garments travelling from Lethbridge to Calgary boutiques, alteration businesses or customers. Identify each garment order, protect it for the journey and nominate the receiving person. The courier arrangement connects the handoffs without turning the seller or customer into the delivery driver.

Keep the clothing order identifiable
Use a job or customer reference on the inner packaging and a shipment label on the outer package. When several garments belong to different customers, maintain that separation before WTM collects them. The driver should not need to sort clothing by size or interpret alteration instructions.
Put measurements, work instructions or customer details inside the package where appropriate. Only the necessary recipient and transport information needs to appear on the exterior. A discreet package can still be fully labelled for the courier handoff.
Choose packaging that protects the presentation
A garment bag may need an outer transport cover or carton. Decide with the clothing business whether an item can be folded and whether it must remain on a hanger. Give WTM those requirements and the packed dimensions before the service is quoted.
Do not assume hanging-garment racks or pressing services are included in ordinary courier transport. Disclose unusually long packages, delicate embellishments or a no-stack requirement. The receiving boutique can then plan its own unpacking and presentation work.
Match delivery timing to the fitting or customer collection
A fitting appointment is not the same as a courier receiving window. Send the order early enough for the alteration business to check it, or for the boutique to prepare it for its customer. State the latest acceptable arrival at the receiving address.
For example, a Lethbridge shop might send labelled garments to a Calgary alteration partner, then arrange a later return once the work is complete. Each direction has its own ready date and package count; the original outbound booking does not establish when the alteration will be finished.
Separate transport records from the work approval
The available POD records the completed handoff. The shop and alteration business retain responsibility for the garments, work instructions and acceptance of the finished job. Keep their own order references connected with the shipping reference for easier follow-up.
If a boutique is moving several cartons of packaged stock rather than individual garment orders, provide the total load. WTM’s freight options can be considered when the order exceeds a normal courier consignment.
Garment courier questions
Can delivery go to a customer’s Calgary address?
Yes. Include the customer’s receiving instructions and any authorised alternative receiver.
Is a same-day alteration round trip assumed?
No. The work and both transport legs must fit separately confirmed timings before a same-day arrangement is accepted.
