Jaffray hotshot transport can move prepared maintenance components, bearings and repair kits to an authorised mill or workshop receiver. WTM Logistics arranges the urgent delivery so the customer’s maintenance team can stay focused on the equipment rather than collecting a supplier order.
Name the receiving business and arrange the handoff with its representative. The transport request should include the facility’s access instructions and the person expecting the components.
Confirm the part number, quantity and required accessories with the supplier. Record the work-order reference and have the prepared packages labelled consistently. Similar-looking bearings or fittings are not interchangeable simply because they fit the same box.
The driver transports the approved order. Technical selection, suitability and any inspection required before installation belong to the customer and supplier.
Metal components can be dense. Give WTM the actual packed weight, outer measurements and number of pieces, including any crate or pallet. Identify how the supplier will load the vehicle and how the receiver will unload it.
If a small case can be handled as a parcel, say so accurately. If the load needs a mechanical handoff, disclose it before accepting the transport quote. The urgency of a maintenance task does not change the physical requirements of the package.
Tell WTM which gate, warehouse or service area can accept the order. A facility may be operating while its regular receiving office is closed. Name the person who has authority to accept the load during the relevant shift.
Where the agreed handoff is to a contractor outside the facility, provide a suitable location and contact. Site entry, escorts and customer procedures should be arranged by the receiving organisation, not assumed by the courier.
An urgent order still needs to be complete and available. If one essential item is missing, the buyer should decide whether the released kit is useful before dispatch. Keep that decision with an authorised contact.
For illustration, a maintenance team could need a boxed bearing set for a planned intervention. WTM’s GPS tracking helps the receiver prepare for arrival; the POD records the delivery, while installation and equipment restart remain separate customer activities.
Yes, subject to the appropriate vehicle and handling arrangement. Give the actual weight and package measurements rather than relying on piece count alone.
Provide the authorised after-hours receiver and access plan. WTM can quote the request against the actual release and receiving arrangements.
Send WTM the approved maintenance order and Jaffray handoff details for a direct hotshot quote.
Use the WTM Customer Portal to request collection and review the proposed service before approving the quote. Pay online, follow the shipment with real-time GPS, and find the available BOL, POD and invoice with the shipment record instead of searching through separate email conversations.
For repeat business, ask about the 10% recurring-shipment offer or the separate funded-credit arrangement with up to 25% off eligible services. WTM confirms which arrangement applies to your quote.
