Businesses around Granum and Coalhurst can request WTM courier collection for prepared parcels travelling to Calgary. The pickup may be at a shop, an office or a rural operating property. Give the actual access point and a reachable releasing contact so the collection is planned around the parcel’s location, not merely the nearest town.

Make the pickup location unambiguous

Include the civic or rural address and the entrance the vehicle should use. A map pin can supplement written directions when there are several approaches, but it should not replace a contact who knows where the packages are waiting.

Describe surface, gate or turning restrictions that affect access. A small carton inside a workshop still needs a practical vehicle handoff. Where access to the property is unsuitable for the assigned equipment, agree a safe alternative meeting point with dispatch rather than expecting an unplanned roadside exchange.

Get the goods ready before the collection window

Close and label every package, state the number of pieces and provide packed dimensions and weights. Tell WTM whether someone must come from another building to release the order. A collection contact who is working away from the premises should nominate a person who will actually be available.

For instance, a rural repair business could send a boxed component to a Calgary supplier while a neighbouring business sends paperwork elsewhere. Those are separate customers and consignments unless an authorised booking arrangement explicitly brings them together.

Quote the Calgary delivery as carefully as the rural pickup

Identify the Calgary department or service counter that should receive the goods. A correct rural collection followed by delivery to the wrong warehouse still leaves the customer’s task unfinished.

WTM will consider the ready time, destination and required arrival when quoting courier service. A critical item needing exclusive direct transportation can be discussed as a hotshot shipment. Do not infer a particular arrival time from the distance to the main highway.

Use repeated shipments to improve the next request

Keep a stable description of the pickup entrance and receiving arrangements in your business’s shipping instructions. Refer to previous shipment records, but check that the current package, contact and deadline have not changed.

A recurring delivery pattern can be discussed separately from a one-off collection. WTM’s wider coverage information provides the network context; the quote establishes the actual local access and movement for your goods.

Rural collection questions

Must I bring the parcel into Lethbridge first?

Not automatically. Request collection from the actual Granum or Coalhurst-area address so WTM can assess the arrangement.

Can the parcel be left outside for pickup?

Agree any unattended arrangement in advance. Do not assume that an unprotected parcel or an unconfirmed location is a suitable handoff.

Keep the next delivery simple

Request the shipment, review and approve your quote, pay online and follow the delivery with real-time GPS tracking in the WTM Customer Portal. Find your available delivery records, invoices and previous shipments without rebuilding the booking through separate email threads.

A funded shipping credit account can provide up to 25% savings on eligible services. Confirm the applicable arrangement with your quote.

Open the WTM Customer Portal. New customers can request an invitation at admin@wtmlogistics.com.

Book the shipment your business needs moved. Send WTM the route, packed load and required timing for a service-specific quote.
