When your freight needs dedicated trailer capacity.
Use larger freight or full-trailer capacity when shipment volume, dimensions, handling or operating requirements make shared trailer space impractical.

WTM Logistics provides commercial freight transportation using WTM-operated equipment across Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories, with selected long-distance connections into major Canadian centres.
Freight mode selector
The best freight option depends on how much capacity the load needs, whether it can share trailer space, and how urgently it must move.
Use larger freight or full-trailer capacity when shipment volume, dimensions, handling or operating requirements make shared trailer space impractical.
LTL uses shared trailer capacity for palletized commercial freight that does not require a full trailer. Lane availability and timing determine whether consolidation is appropriate.
Dedicated transportation can be appropriate when freight should not share capacity, when handling requirements are specialized, or when a recurring transportation arrangement requires planned equipment.
Hotshot is the dedicated urgent option for freight requiring immediate dispatch attention. Once the shipment is confirmed, dispatch can begin immediately after payment; pickup timing still depends on origin, vehicle position, equipment and site access.
WTM freight equipment
WTM operates multiple commercial vehicle classes so freight can be matched to shipment size, loading conditions, handling and special handling requirements.

Providing these details early helps dispatch choose equipment, assess the lane and avoid unnecessary back-and-forth.
The exact pickup and delivery locations determine lane feasibility.
Length, width and height help determine usable equipment capacity.
Approximate or confirmed shipment weight is needed for equipment planning.
Dock, ground-level loading and site conditions can affect equipment selection.
Temperature control, TDG, white glove or other specialized needs should be disclosed.
The deadline determines whether standard, dedicated or urgent transportation is appropriate.
Carrier model
WTM primarily moves freight using WTM-operated equipment. That is different from positioning the company as a freight broker. Where a shipment involves customs processes, WTM can coordinate transportation with third-party customs brokers rather than claiming to perform customs brokerage itself.
Trailers, straight trucks, Sprinters and hotshot equipment form part of the operating fleet.
Freight transfer support is available when the movement needs an intermediate logistics step.
Indoor storage, Pick & Pack, inventory and order management can support more complex freight requirements.
Freight network
WTM's core pickup and delivery network covers Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories. Relevant freight corridors may also originate or terminate in selected major Canadian centres.
WTM does not represent every Canadian city-to-city combination as an active freight lane. Use the coverage page or provide the exact origin and destination in a quote request.

Freight questions
WTM provides commercial freight transportation including larger freight and trailer-capacity movements, LTL pallet freight, dedicated transportation, hotshot freight, flat-deck transport, 5-ton straight-truck service and specialized handling review.
LTL is normally the starting point when palletized commercial freight can share trailer capacity. Larger loads, equipment requirements or operating constraints may require dedicated trailer capacity. WTM can assess this from dimensions, weight, origin and destination.
Temperature-controlled capability must be confirmed directly with dispatch. Provide the required conditions before booking; availability is not confirmed by this page or quote form.
WTM is an asset-based carrier and primarily transports freight using WTM-operated equipment. Contact WTM dispatch directly to review the shipment. For customs-related movements, third-party customs brokers may be involved where required.
Provide the pickup and delivery locations, cargo description, dimensions, approximate or confirmed weight, loading access, timing and any special handling such as temperature control, TDG or white glove requirements.
No. The form begins the quote and shipment-review process. Booking and shipment acceptance require confirmation from WTM.
Send WTM the origin, destination and shipment details. Dispatch can determine the appropriate freight mode and equipment before confirmation.
