Crowsnest Pass hotshot service can deliver the contractor tools and installation materials that a crew needs to keep a job moving. WTM Logistics arranges a dedicated run for a prepared urgent order, with equipment and receiving instructions matched to the load.

A missing boxed assembly or a specialised tool case can justify direct transport even when the shipment is much smaller than a truckload of construction materials.

Identify what actually stops the installation

Ask the supervisor to identify the critical item and confirm it with the supplier. Include the correct dimensions, finish or model in the customer’s purchasing process. The courier should not be asked to decide between products at the supplier counter.

When a job needs several related pieces, get the full kit packed and counted. A replacement assembly without its required fittings may not solve the crew’s problem. Record the actual release rather than assume everything on a purchase order is available.

Distinguish a boxed order from a material haul

Prepared tools and compact installation kits may fit enclosed courier or hotshot equipment. Long sections, heavy loads or palletised assemblies need their real dimensions and handling explained before the vehicle is chosen.

Tell WTM if the package needs to remain upright or protected from weather. A simple description and photo can help, but it should supplement—not replace—written measurements and weights.

Deliver to the crew’s authorised receiving point

A job in Blairmore, Coleman or another Pass community may have a business address and a separate construction access point. Give the site contact, entrance and unloading instructions. A driver should not have to choose between a public storefront and an active work area.

If the customer wants inside delivery or movement beyond the vehicle handoff, identify that requirement at quotation. Transport to the site is not automatically the same service as carrying materials through a building.

Time the delivery against the next work step

Tell WTM when the component becomes available and when the crew can use it. GPS tracking helps coordinate the receiving person, while the POD provides a record for the contractor’s purchase and job files.

For illustration, an installer may need a missing boxed hardware set before completing a fitting. A direct hotshot can move that prepared set to the supervisor without treating the entire installation order as emergency freight.

Can a tool case be delivered urgently without a pallet?

Yes. Describe the packed case and deadline so WTM can quote suitable dedicated transport.

Does hotshot delivery include installation or site supervision?

No. WTM completes the agreed transport handoff. The contractor remains responsible for installing the materials and managing the worksite.

Stay with the shipment from request to delivery

Request a WTM quote online, approve the agreed service and complete the payment step in your Customer Portal. Follow the shipment with real-time GPS tracking, then use the available delivery record, invoice and shipment history to answer questions after the handoff.

For repeat business, ask about the 10% recurring-shipment offer or the separate funded-credit arrangement with up to 25% off eligible services. WTM confirms which arrangement applies to your quote.
