When a supplier is closing soon, give WTM the collection deadline immediately—along with confirmation that the order is ready to release. The urgent task may be securing the goods before the counter closes, even when the final delivery can happen later.
Call 587-316-2639 for a time-critical request. State the supplier’s closing time first, then the address and order reference.
Ask the supplier whether the order has been picked, packed and released. Check whether payment, purchase-order approval or collection authorisation is still outstanding.
A driver should arrive to collect the specified order, not wait for someone to decide which items can leave. Give WTM the supplier contact, exact collection entrance and the reference the counter staff will recognise.
Our supplier-pickup guide covers the broader arrangement. Here, the priority is the deadline at the collection point.
Say “collect before 4 p.m.; deliver tomorrow morning” when that is the actual requirement. Do not describe both simply as “urgent.”
Illustrative example: a technician has a repair booked for the following day, but the supplier will close before the technician can travel there. A courier collection protects access to the ready order. The delivery service can then be chosen around tomorrow’s repair rather than automatically treating everything as a same-day emergency.
When the receiver needs the part immediately, tell WTM. A dedicated hotshot may be the appropriate option for that different requirement.
Provide the packed size, weight and number of pieces. Mention a long component, heavy box or tailgate requirement before a vehicle is assigned.
Tell the supplier that WTM is collecting for you, and ensure the releasing contact has your authorisation. Leave a reachable number for questions about the order. “Ask for my usual parts” is not an adequate release reference when the counter is about to close.
WTM dispatch begins immediately after confirmation; collection timing depends on location and assigned equipment. The confirmed pickup arrangement is the answer to the deadline—not an assumption that placing a request guarantees arrival before closing.
Use the WTM Customer Portal for quote review, approval and the required payment. Follow the shipment record for progress and retrieve the POD after delivery.
When last-minute supplier collections become routine, review your ordering and pickup pattern with WTM. A planned recurring arrangement can support the 10% recurring-shipment offer and reduce repeated urgent coordination.
Give WTM the actual ready time and clearly identify anything still unconfirmed. Dispatch needs both the available collection window and the final package details.
Find out the next authorised release opportunity and tell WTM. Do not assume a driver can collect goods from a locked or unattended location.
