Choose courier or hotshot between Lethbridge and Cranbrook by matching the required arrival time to the prepared shipment—not by assuming every small box is routine or every part is an emergency. WTM Logistics provides both service options and can quote the one that fits the actual collection and receiving requirements.

The distinction is practical: a planned parcel arrangement and a dedicated direct movement solve different timing problems.

Compare three realistic shipment situations

These are illustrative decisions. The confirmed quote should still reflect the actual addresses, readiness, load and receiver.

Make the deadline specific enough to use

“Soon” and “urgent” do not give dispatch the same information as a required receiving time. Explain when the goods become available and the latest useful arrival. A recipient’s later customer appointment may require delivery well before that appointment begins.

Do not confuse same-day collection with same-day completion. The pickup and delivery commitments should be clear before the service is approved.

Keep size and urgency as separate questions

A small box may justify direct hotshot transport when it holds the critical component. Several larger cartons may suit planned courier capacity when their timing allows. Palletised or awkward goods need their handling and equipment assessed regardless of the urgency label.

Use packed dimensions and weights. A product’s catalogue measurements do not describe the complete crate, protective material or accessory box the vehicle must carry.

Do not add ordinary stops to a direct urgent job

If you need several planned customer deliveries, request a multi-stop courier arrangement. If one order needs a direct movement, book that requirement clearly. Combining the two without agreement can change the service the urgent recipient expects.

For example, a supplier might send routine retail cartons on a planned round and release one separate repair kit for hotshot delivery. Separate references let the business track each commitment accurately.

Choose from a complete quote

Compare the same pickup, final address, timing and handling. Include any tailgate, appointment or access requirements. WTM’s Customer Portal lets you review and approve the proposed service before the transport proceeds.

Can WTM help me choose when I am unsure?

Yes. Give the ready time, deadline, packed load and receiving details. Those facts allow a useful service comparison.

Is hotshot always the better option?

Not for every job. The appropriate option is the confirmed service that meets the shipment’s needs without buying a different level of urgency unnecessarily.

Describe the outcome your receiver needs and ask WTM for the courier or hotshot service that matches it.

Keep the next delivery easier to arrange

Your WTM Customer Portal brings new requests, fast quotes, quote approval and payments into one account. Track the shipment in real time and retrieve the available BOL, delivery confirmation and invoice. Previous shipments remain accessible for reference when your business needs another movement.
