WTM Logistics · Calgary–Red Deer · Northbound
WTM’s Calgary to Red Deer LTL service can carry palletised paper products to commercial facilities and supply distributors. Tissue cases, paper towels and similar dry packaged goods may be light relative to the space they occupy. Quote them using the loaded pallet dimensions and handling limits so the receiving business gets an appropriate freight arrangement rather than a price based on weight alone.

Show the load’s volume and stacking limits
Measure the pallet after cases have been stacked and secured. Include the pallet’s footprint, loaded height and gross weight. State whether the top can support another load or whether the packaging must remain uncompressed.
Two pallets with the same weight can occupy very different floor and cubic space. Avoid increasing stack height beyond the packaging’s intended limits simply to reduce the number of pallets shown on a quote request.
Allocate stock before the delivery run
If the order serves several Red Deer facilities, identify the pallet or case allocation for each receiving address. A distribution depot and three separate customer buildings are different delivery arrangements.
Keep the supplier’s order references visible on the appropriate handling units. The driver should not need to break down a mixed pallet to decide which cases belong to which facility unless a specific additional service has been agreed.
Keep dry paper goods distinct from other supplies
This shipment description concerns ordinary dry paper products. If chemicals, aerosols, liquids or other special goods are included in the same order, disclose them before acceptance. A facilities-supply purchase order can contain items with very different transport requirements.
Protect the packaging from avoidable exposure and prepare stable pallets for handling. Tell WTM about any projecting cases or load that cannot be secured as a normal palletised consignment.
Match unloading to the building
A facility may receive paper products through a loading dock, service entrance or level ground-level area. Confirm the available equipment, receiving contact and appointment. Tailgate unloading and inside movement should be described separately.
For recurring replenishment, share the normal quantity and delivery frequency. WTM can assess a repeat-shipment arrangement, while the actual loads and receiving instructions should still be updated when demand changes. The Customer Portal holds the quote decisions and issued documents for reference.
Can a light pallet still take significant freight capacity?
Yes. Its footprint, loaded height and stacking restrictions affect the space required. Provide both dimensions and weight.
Will the driver distribute cases inside the building?
Not automatically. Request any pallet breakdown, inside delivery or additional handling before the quote is accepted.
Send WTM the real pallet size and each facility’s receiving arrangement for paper-product LTL delivery.
Connect the pallets with the paperwork
The WTM Customer Portal brings requests, quotes, approvals and online payments together. Follow active shipments with real-time GPS and find issued BOLs, PODs, invoices and previous freight orders when operations or accounts needs the record.
Fund your shipping account for up to 25% off eligible services, or discuss the separate 10% recurring-shipment offer for a regular delivery arrangement.
