WTM Logistics · Calgary–Fort McMurray · Northbound
WTM can arrange refrigerated courier deliveries from Calgary suppliers to food businesses in Grassland and Wandering River. Identify the real stop and product instructions when quoting the shipment. A refrigerated order intended for an intermediate community should not be booked as a Fort McMurray city delivery with an informal request to unload somewhere along the way.

Build the route from the receiving businesses
Provide each address, authorised contact and delivery window. State which cases belong at each stop. If a supplier serves both communities, label the allocations clearly before collection so the driver is not asked to divide loose products at the roadside.
Describe access to the goods entrance and tell dispatch about any restriction on vehicle size or turning. A business beside a highway may still have a separate service entrance. Include the actual entrance in the accepted booking.
Confirm temperature and package compatibility
Ask the supplier to state the required conditions for the actual products. Frozen and chilled orders should not be combined under an unspecified setting. Where several product groups are involved, disclose them before equipment is selected.
List the final carton sizes and gross weights. Use sealed transport-ready packaging and identify upright or non-stackable loads. A small number of delicate packages can require more protected space than the box count suggests.
Arrange receiving beyond a phone call on arrival
Name somebody who can accept the order and arrange the buyer’s own storage immediately after handoff. A busy shop or café should plan that responsibility in advance. Giving only a general business number may leave the vehicle waiting while staff locate an authorised receiver.
For illustration, two roadside businesses may receive separate cold orders on the same quoted route. The stops still have individual requirements. If one receiver is closed, dispatch needs an agreed instruction rather than an assumption that its goods can be left with the other business.
Use recurring deliveries to create a workable routine
Supply the normal order days, volumes and receiving windows to discuss a recurring refrigerated arrangement. Update the schedule for closures or unusually large orders. WTM’s 10% recurring-shipment offer is separate from its funded-credit savings on eligible services.
Use GPS visibility in the Customer Portal to coordinate the receiving contact. Retain the POD against each buyer’s order and specify any required temperature records separately. Request a quote naming the intermediate stops and their cold-storage handoffs—not just the broader northern corridor.
Keep the receiving team and accounts connected
Use the WTM Customer Portal to manage the request, quote approval and online payment. GPS visibility supports receiving coordination, while issued BOLs, PODs and invoices provide records for operations and accounts. Access previous shipments without rebuilding the history through email.
Save 10% on recurring shipments under the applicable arrangement. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Ask which offer applies to your quote; the two are not automatically combined.

Frequently asked questions
Is a stop in either community automatically included in a Fort McMurray service?
No. Include the actual stops in the quote so their routing and receiving requirements are planned.
Can one vehicle carry any mixture of chilled and frozen orders?
Do not assume that. Disclose the product requirements and WTM will assess the appropriate transport arrangement.
