Calgary ↔ Fort St. John · LTL

WTM Logistics provides refrigerated LTL options for suitable chilled pallet orders from Calgary to Fort St. John. This is a freight service for prepared palletised loads whose temperature requirements and timing fit the accepted arrangement. It is not the same as booking an exclusive refrigerated hotshot for an urgent consignment.

Specify the pallet and the product conditions

Give product descriptions, required transport conditions and full pallet measurements, including base and total height. Supply gross weights and identify stacking restrictions. A generic label such as food freight does not explain the requirements of a particular chilled load.

Separate product groups with different instructions. Shared transport requires compatible accepted conditions and handling. Do not assume every chilled product can travel together simply because it is kept below room temperature.

Prepare for a freight handoff

The supplier should release stable, identified pallets in their transport-ready condition. Include the purchase-order reference and any product documentation the FSJ receiver expects. The transportation BOL and POD serve different purposes from product identity and traceability records.

State what loading equipment is available in Calgary and how the destination will unload. A refrigerated dock, forklift or tailgate handoff should be part of the plan before the quotation is approved.

Choose LTL or hotshot from the deadline

Give the earliest release and the receiving window. WTM confirms the suitable refrigerated freight service for the actual shipment. A pallet needed urgently for an active shortage may justify dedicated refrigerated hotshot; a planned replenishment pallet may not need exclusive transport.

Discuss any temperature-monitoring or reporting requirement before booking. The Customer Portal's GPS view provides shipment location, not automatic evidence of every product condition. Required records should be agreed as part of the service.

Plan receiving and repeat ordering together

Confirm that the FSJ destination can receive and store the order when it arrives. Include the actual goods entrance and contact, not just the business's public address. Keep multiple customer allocations separate on the shipment list.

Use the Customer Portal to approve the quote, pay online and access the issued BOL, POD and invoice. For regular chilled pallet orders, WTM can discuss recurring transportation and the relevant account offer. Update quantities, packaging and product requirements on each request so the next load is assessed from current facts rather than an old pallet description.

Frequently asked questions

How is refrigerated LTL different from refrigerated hotshot?

LTL uses an accepted shared-freight arrangement; refrigerated hotshot is an urgent dedicated movement. Choose according to the load and deadline.

Can the delivery need tailgate unloading?

Disclose the pallet dimensions, weight and ground-level receiving conditions so WTM can assess the required equipment.

Keep the next delivery easy to arrange

Start a request, review the quoted service and approve it through your WTM Customer Portal. Make payment online and follow the shipment with real-time GPS. Available BOLs, PODs and invoices stay connected with the shipment history.

WTM offers 10% off recurring shipments. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Confirm the applicable offer with your quote; the two offers are not automatically combined.
