WTM Logistics · Calgary–Fort McMurray · Northbound
A Calgary supplier may prepare pallets for a Fort McMurray city warehouse and a separate operating-site receiver in the same order. WTM can quote the planned movements when the addresses, pallet allocations and receiving requirements are stated individually. Two consignees should not disappear inside one broad line that says “deliver to Fort McMurray.”
Shared-capacity freight options · Pallet-by-pallet quoting · Agreed loading and receiving arrangements
Allocate pallets before the transport quote
Identify which units belong to each receiver and label them accordingly. Include the buyer’s order references and complete pallet measurements. A driver should not be expected to divide or rebuild mixed pallets at the first delivery point.
If one package contains goods for both locations, have the supplier and buyer agree how it will be handled before collection. Splitting a commercial order is a preparation decision, not an automatic part of an LTL delivery.
Give each location its own receiving brief
The city warehouse may have a dock and broad receiving hours. The operating site may require an appointment, approved gate and customer-arranged access. Those are separate scopes even if one purchasing department pays for both.
Provide a receiving contact for each location and identify who can approve changes. Do not assume the person at the first stop can authorise the driver’s entry or unloading at the second.
Compare the service required for each allocation
One part of the order may fit a planned LTL commitment while another has a firm urgent deadline. Ask WTM to quote the appropriate split rather than forcing both loads into the same urgency by default.
Similarly, ground-level handling or temperature control at one destination does not describe the other load. State the requirements against the correct pallet group so the quote and equipment assessment remain clear.
Reconcile delivery records by receiver
Use separate shipment or allocation references where the agreed transport arrangement requires them. Match each POD to the corresponding receiving point rather than treating a signature at the city warehouse as proof that the operating site has received its goods.
The Customer Portal helps keep quotes, invoices and shipment history together for the booking business. Use GPS visibility to coordinate the actual handoffs, not to infer that every department has completed its internal distribution. Send WTM the full destination-and-pallet register for an LTL proposal covering the complete order.
A customer account built around your deliveries
The WTM Customer Portal supports new shipment requests, quote review and approval, online payments and real-time GPS tracking. Access issued BOLs, PODs, invoices and shipment history through the same account. New customers can request access from admin@wtmlogistics.com.
Save 10% on recurring shipments under the applicable arrangement. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Ask which offer applies to your quote; the two are not automatically combined.

Frequently asked questions
Does one purchase order mean only one delivery charge or receiving stop?
No. The quote should account for the actual destinations and handling requirements.
Can part of the order use hotshot while the rest uses LTL?
Yes. Provide each load’s deadline and ask WTM to quote the appropriate service split.
