WTM Logistics · Calgary–Fort McMurray · Southbound
WTM can arrange frozen freight transportation for approved palletised stock moving from Fort McMurray to Calgary. Provide the products' frozen transport instructions and the full pallet specifications. This is a freight-scale inventory movement, not a general parcel return, and both businesses should agree the stock allocation and receiving process before collection.
Shared-capacity freight options · Pallet-by-pallet quoting · Agreed loading and receiving arrangements
Establish ownership and receiving approval
Identify the sending business, receiving warehouse and stock-transfer or purchase reference. Confirm which products and quantities the Calgary team accepts. WTM transports the agreed consignment; it does not authorise a stock transfer or assess whether a product should enter saleable inventory.
Keep product identifiers and the owner’s records associated with each pallet. Separate pallets for different receivers or different instructions. A clear allocation helps the receiving warehouse reconcile the physical load with its own stock records.
Quote the finished frozen load
Provide pallet footprints, loaded heights, gross weights and any non-stackable sections. Include wrapping, protective structures and overhangs in the measurements. Do not reuse dimensions from a previous movement when the current packaging differs.
State the required frozen conditions and any monitoring or reporting need. An accepted frozen arrangement should not be replaced with an unspecified chilled service. Discuss the actual product requirements with dispatch before the quotation is approved.
Align collection and freezer receiving
Give the Fort McMurray release entrance and the time the prepared pallets are available. Confirm loading equipment and the contact who will authorise collection. A stock system showing available inventory does not necessarily mean the pallets are staged and ready.
At the Calgary end, identify the freezer warehouse’s receiving window, appointment reference and unloading method. Arrange the handoff with someone who can accept the consignment and manage the business’s own storage process.
Keep route records separate from product decisions
GPS tracking provides movement visibility. The POD records the delivery handoff, while any agreed temperature report and the receiver’s product checks address other questions. Keep those records connected by the shipment reference without treating them as interchangeable.
Use the Customer Portal to approve the quote, manage payment and retrieve the issued BOL, POD and invoice. For recurring stock movements, share the normal pallet sizes and release pattern. Request a southbound frozen-freight proposal once the inventory allocation and freezer receiving plan are complete.
Make repeat shipments easier to organise
Keep requests, approved quotes, online payments and historical shipments together in the WTM Customer Portal. Follow deliveries with real-time GPS tracking and retrieve issued BOLs, PODs and invoices when needed. New customers can request an account invitation from admin@wtmlogistics.com.
Save 10% on recurring shipments under the applicable arrangement. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Ask which offer applies to your quote; the two are not automatically combined.
