Describe an ordinary delivery in ordinary language
Perhaps you need to send belongings to a family member, return an item for repair or move a purchase from a seller to your home. Explain that situation directly. You do not need to choose between industry terms before making contact.
“Please collect a packed coffee machine from this address and deliver it to my repair shop” is more useful than selecting “freight” because the item feels heavy. Dispatch can ask for the missing measurements and handling details to identify the appropriate service.
One box can involve very different levels of urgency
A birthday parcel needed later in the week is not the same as a component needed for an appointment today. Give both the time the box will be ready and the latest acceptable arrival. Request a suitable planned service when you can wait; ask about direct courier or hotshot when the deadline cannot move.
Do not assume that a same-day pickup promise means arrival that evening in another city. WTM confirms the collection and delivery arrangement for the actual route.
The box should be ready to travel
Use packaging appropriate to the contents, keep movement inside the box controlled and disclose fragile or unusual items. Label it clearly enough to match it to the shipment reference. A shipping request is not automatically a packing-service booking.
For a heavy box, tell WTM whether you can bring it to the agreed handoff safely. For an apartment pickup, clarify the lobby, concierge or other authorised collection point. These details avoid booking a simple doorstep exchange when you actually require additional assistance.
Personal does not mean anonymous
The courier needs a reachable sender and receiver even when there is no company purchase order. Provide each person’s name and contact information, along with complete addresses and the delivery deadline. Avoid placing unnecessary sensitive information on the outside packaging.
If someone else is releasing the box, tell them who will collect it and which item is authorised. Arranging a collection is different from asking a driver to decide which belongings should be packed or removed.
How WTM makes the booking manageable
Start with the quote form or call dispatch. Existing portal customers can submit requests, approve quotes and make payments online. For new portal access, contact admin@wtmlogistics.com; asking for a quote does not require you to invent a business name.
Real-time GPS tracking helps you follow an accepted shipment in transit. The available proof of delivery provides a record after the handoff. Confirm the address is within the applicable WTM service coverage rather than assuming every personal delivery is local.
Can the receiver be another person rather than a business?
Yes. Provide their address, contact and agreed receiving arrangement, including any building-access instructions.
Can I get a price for one box before booking?
Yes. Send its packed size, weight, route and timing. A quote comes before the decision to accept the proposed service.
Start with the box you actually need sent. WTM can explain the shipping option without requiring you to become a regular commercial shipper.
