WTM Logistics · Calgary–Lloydminster · LTL

WTM Logistics can arrange Lloydminster-to-Calgary LTL for accepted loads containing different pallets, crates and skids. Quote each handling unit separately so the transport plan reflects the actual space and handling needs. A single average pallet size can hide the crate that determines the vehicle or unloading arrangement.

Create a short handling-unit list

Number the loaded units and record length, width, height and gross weight for each. Use the packed dimensions, including any overhang or protective frame. A piece of equipment secured to a skid should be measured as the complete transport unit.

For illustration, a shipment could contain two low carton pallets and one tall protected assembly. The three units do not become interchangeable because they share a consignee. The taller assembly may require different clearance or a non-stackable position.

Keep product quantity separate from pallet quantity

Your packing list may show several hundred saleable items. The carrier still needs the number of units to collect and deliver. Link the product list to the numbered pallets so the Calgary receiver can reconcile both without confusing missing supplier lines with missing transport units.

If some stock is staying in Lloydminster, mark it outside the release. The loading team should not have to interpret which products the customer intends to return based on an old purchase order.

Identify the handling restriction that controls the job

Tell WTM about height, unstable shapes, fragile surfaces or points that cannot bear another load. Do not describe a pallet as stackable unless the packed product and the responsible shipper permit it. Lower weight does not automatically make a unit easy to handle.

Name the equipment at collection and delivery. A mixed load may include one piece that cannot use the same unloading method as the rest. Resolve that requirement while quoting rather than asking a receiver to improvise when the vehicle arrives.

Use the reverse-route service deliberately

The existing Lloydminster-to-Calgary LTL service is appropriate for planned shared-capacity freight. When one of the units has an urgent separate deadline, discuss whether it should travel by dedicated hotshot while the other units remain on LTL.

The WTM Customer Portal keeps the quote and available transport documents associated with the booking. Use the handling-unit numbers in your release and receiving records. The POD supports the transport handoff, while the customer completes its own product and condition checks.

Mixed-load questions

Can the same shipment include a crate and ordinary cartons on pallets?

Yes. Describe every accepted handling unit and disclose the different protection or unloading requirements.

Should I divide total weight equally between pallets?

Use actual weights or a reliable shipper assessment for each unit. An arbitrary average can misdescribe the heaviest or most difficult part of the load.

Manage transport without losing the paperwork

Your WTM Customer Portal supports new requests, quote review and approval, online payment, live GPS tracking and historical shipment records. Issued BOLs, PODs and invoices stay accessible with the movement they document.

WTM offers 10% off recurring shipments. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. The applicable offer is confirmed with your quote; the two offers are not automatically combined.

Open the WTM Customer Portal. New customers can request access at admin@wtmlogistics.com.

Ready to move your shipment? Send WTM the collection and delivery addresses, packed load, ready time and required arrival. Include temperature or special-handling requirements where applicable.
