WTM Logistics · Calgary–Red Deer · Northbound
WTM’s Calgary to Red Deer hotshot can carry approved commercial refrigeration repair parts directly to the technician who needs them. This is transportation of prepared hardware such as controls, fans or other replacement components—not the refrigerated delivery of food. Describe the actual contents and the repair deadline so dispatch assigns the appropriate vehicle and service.

Avoid confusing repair parts with cold product transport
A control board may need protective packaging without needing a refrigerated vehicle. Other components may have different condition or handling requirements. Use the supplier’s instructions for the packed parts instead of selecting a service solely because the customer’s business uses refrigeration.
Disclose refrigerants, pressurised items, batteries or any other special contents before acceptance. A component-only request and a load containing additional materials may need different review. Do not add undisclosed supplies after the quote has been agreed.
Confirm the approved part and release point
Have the technician and supplier confirm the model, revision and any necessary companion fittings. Give WTM the release reference, complete package count and actual pickup location. The supplier should prepare the order for transport before the vehicle is dispatched to collect it.
A partial order can be sent first when the customer decides that is useful. Make the split explicit and quote any later collection separately rather than leaving the driver to prioritise technical items.
Deliver to the person handling the repair
A supermarket, restaurant or distribution facility can have several receiving entrances. Name the contractor or authorised employee and state whether the handoff is at a service door, maintenance shop or secure yard.
Explain the latest useful arrival time and the contact’s availability. A part delivered to general reception after the technician has left may meet a street-address instruction while missing the operational need. The shipment plan should make that need clear.
Keep stock protection separate from the repair run
The customer remains responsible for assessing products held in the affected equipment and for its own operating procedures. A hotshot bringing replacement hardware does not establish whether food is safe or whether refrigeration can be returned to use.
WTM provides direct transport, GPS visibility and a POD for the handoff. If temperature-controlled stock also needs moving, request a separate suitable shipment rather than assuming the repair-parts vehicle covers that additional job.
Does a refrigeration-parts hotshot use a refrigerated truck?
Only when the parts’ actual transport instructions require it and the service is agreed. Many repair hardware shipments are a different task from cold-food delivery.
Can WTM deliver outside normal business hours?
Request the time and confirm authorised access and an available receiver. Dispatch reviews the practical collection and delivery arrangement.
Book the correct hardware, vehicle and technician handoff to keep the urgent repair moving.
