WTM Logistics · Calgary–Red Deer · Northbound

WTM can transport prepared chilled catering orders from Calgary kitchens to Red Deer workplaces. The delivery should fit the receiving team’s food-handling plan and leave time for its own setup before service. This is a refrigerated transportation arrangement for the prepared order, not a promise that the courier will cook, reheat, plate or serve the food.

Work backwards from the receiving task

An event starting at noon may need its food accepted substantially earlier for the caterer’s own preparations. Ask the workplace or caterer to specify the latest transport handoff time, then set the ready time in Calgary around a realistic accepted service.

Identify who will receive the delivery and where it will go immediately afterwards. A front desk without access to the nominated food-storage area may not be the intended receiving point. Agree that point before the order leaves the kitchen.

Separate chilled food from other event items

The prepared meal containers may have different requirements from paper goods, display equipment or empty serving trays. Describe the groups separately and state the approved transport conditions for the food.

Give the complete package count, dimensions and weight. A large collection of light but non-stackable catering trays needs more space than an ordinary carton count implies. The kitchen should package and support each tray for the agreed transport arrangement.

Plan workplace access and unloading

A corporate campus, industrial site and small office can have different entrance rules. Provide the correct gate, security contact and delivery entrance. State whether the agreed service ends at reception, a goods door or another accessible receiving point.

If inside handling, stairs or additional unloading assistance is needed, include it in the quotation. Do not assume that the word “catering” automatically includes service into a particular room or setup on tables.

Treat container recovery as a separate job

Reusable carriers and trays may not be ready to return until well after the meal. Give WTM the expected return quantity and the person responsible for preparing it. A later collection often has different receiving hours from the morning food delivery.

Use the shipment references to connect the outward delivery and any return with the event order. The POD confirms the transportation handoff; the caterer and workplace retain responsibility for product acceptance and food handling after receipt.

Can WTM arrange delivery for a recurring workplace meal programme?

Yes. Provide the normal production release, destination, load and receiving window for a recurring proposal. Update changes for each dispatch.

Does this cover hot-food holding during delivery?

Specify the actual product and temperature requirement. Do not assume that a chilled-catering booking includes hot holding or a different temperature service.

Give your workplace meal programme a confirmed delivery plan before promising the final service time.

Keep the cold-delivery request and records together

Use the WTM Customer Portal for your request, quote approval, payment and shipment history. Real-time GPS shows the movement; issued BOLs, PODs and invoices remain with the shipment. Product-specific temperature reporting is a separate requirement to agree in the booking.

Fund your shipping account for up to 25% off eligible services, or discuss the separate 10% recurring-shipment offer for a regular delivery arrangement.
