WTM can assess a courier movement that collects prepared orders in Calgary and High River for one Lethbridge buyer. Combining compatible collections can simplify coordination, but the entire pickup sequence must be included in the request. Two suppliers mean two release contacts, two readiness checks and one clearly identified final receiver.

Build a collection list that dispatch can use

For each supplier, provide its collection address, order reference, opening or release window, package count, dimensions and weight. Keep the consignments labelled by supplier and buyer. Avoid putting all details into one note that does not show which information belongs to which pickup.

Get both suppliers’ permission to release to WTM. A buyer’s purchase confirmation is not always the same as a warehouse’s collection authorisation. Confirm any balance, paperwork or release procedure directly with the supplier before the vehicle arrives.

Check whether the orders are ready together

A combined run works only when the accepted sequence can accommodate the two releases. If the Calgary order is ready in the morning but the High River order remains in production, the final arrival may be governed by the later pickup.

Ask whether the first order can wait for consolidation or whether it needs its own movement. This is a business decision about deadlines, not an automatic promise that adding a stop leaves the original delivery time unchanged.

Keep the load compatible and fully described

Boxed ambient stock from two suppliers may suit one courier arrangement. A mixture involving refrigerated products, hazardous items or equipment requiring different handling needs a separate assessment. Do not treat all goods on one buyer’s shopping list as one compatible load.

For illustration, a Lethbridge retailer might combine printed materials from Calgary with boxed display accessories from High River. Both suppliers prepare and identify their orders independently, while the buyer provides a single receiving contact. This planned courier movement is not advertised as a no-stop dedicated hotshot.

Reconcile each supplier’s order at delivery

Give the receiver a simple expected-piece summary for both origins. Preserve the purchase references so a missing item can be traced to the relevant supplier instead of treating every question as a transportation loss.

WTM’s High River courier guide covers local requirements; this article adds multi-origin coordination. For larger supplier loads, discuss consolidation with LTL freight rather than assuming the same parcel vehicle will accommodate extra pallets.

Combined-pickup questions

Can another stop be added after booking?

Request a revised plan and quote before the additional collection is accepted.

Does combining pickups always cost less?

Not necessarily. Compare the complete multi-stop quote with separate movements, using the same deadlines and handling requirements.

Keep the next delivery simple

Request the shipment, review and approve your quote, pay online and follow the delivery with real-time GPS tracking in the WTM Customer Portal. Find your available delivery records, invoices and previous shipments without rebuilding the booking through separate email threads.

Save 10% on recurring shipments. A funded credit account separately offers up to 25% off eligible services. Ask WTM which arrangement applies to your quote; the two offers are not combined.

Open the WTM Customer Portal. New customers can request an invitation at admin@wtmlogistics.com.

Book the shipment your business needs moved. Send WTM the route, packed load and required timing for a service-specific quote.
