Replacement-and-return hotshot on the Lethbridge–Cranbrook corridor can coordinate delivery of an urgent component and a separately prepared return of the removed unit. WTM Logistics can quote the movements when each load, release and receiving arrangement is clearly described.
The two journeys may relate to the same repair, but they are not automatically the same transport job or the same physical shipment.
Confirm the approved replacement part, supplier release reference, packed dimensions and weight. Identify the customer or technician receiving it and the time it is needed. Arrange loading and unloading around the actual package or pallet.
The replacement should reach an authorised receiver prepared to accept it. Transport completion does not include installing the part, testing equipment or deciding whether the removed component qualifies for supplier credit.
A removed unit may not be available until the repair reaches a later stage. Ask the technician for the preparation and release plan rather than assuming the delivering vehicle can wait indefinitely.
Obtain the supplier or repair centre’s return authorisation and correct return address. The receiving location for cores or used parts can differ from the original sales counter.
Follow the recipient’s packaging and preparation instructions and disclose its condition and contents. Report the actual return weight and dimensions. The removed component may not fit the replacement packaging or may require different containment.
WTM should know what is being collected before confirming the return service. A description of the new part does not automatically cover a used assembly with different handling needs.
Use the repair reference to relate the two movements while giving each shipment its own direction, contacts and POD. This helps the customer show when the replacement arrived and when the return reached the supplier without confusing the two handoffs.
For illustration, a business may receive an urgent replacement assembly in Cranbrook and prepare the removed unit for collection to Lethbridge the next day. Separate bookings avoid making the outbound driver’s schedule depend on an unknown repair duration.
Yes. Provide the details and readiness of both movements. Any waiting or coordinated return collection needs to be expressly included in the confirmed plan.
No. The POD confirms handoff to the agreed receiver. The supplier’s inspection and credit decision remain separate from transport.
Request both journeys with their own preparation and receiving details so the repair cycle can close cleanly.
Use the WTM Customer Portal to request collection and review the proposed service before approving the quote. Pay online, follow the shipment with real-time GPS, and find the available BOL, POD and invoice with the shipment record instead of searching through separate email conversations.
For repeat business, ask about the 10% recurring-shipment offer or the separate funded-credit arrangement with up to 25% off eligible services. WTM confirms which arrangement applies to your quote.
