WTM’s Lethbridge to Sparwood hotshot service can deliver a prepared plant-maintenance order directly to its authorised receiving point. It is intended for time-sensitive components and repair kits that need dedicated transport, rather than routine site supplies moving on a planned courier round.

The most useful enquiry links the approved parts order, supplier release and site handoff to the same repair requirement.

Have the maintenance team approve the kit

Ask the responsible technician or purchaser to confirm which components are required. Include the supplier’s part numbers and order reference in the customer’s own paperwork. The courier should receive a prepared shipment, not instructions to choose substitutes or decide which seals and fittings match an installation.

When an order contains several packages, identify the total count and whether the kit is complete. A small omitted accessory can matter to the repair even when the main component has been delivered.

Quote the actual packed load

Report weights and dimensions after the goods are prepared. A dense assembly may need mechanical handling despite its modest footprint. Identify the pallet, crate or case and any orientation instructions.

Choose the receiving arrangement alongside the vehicle. If the order is going to a staffed warehouse, identify its unloading equipment. If the handoff is at an approved gate or contractor yard, state what is available there instead of assuming the plant’s internal facilities will be accessible.

Make access approval part of the booking

Provide the authorised gate, receiving contact and required instructions before dispatch. The carrier must work with the recipient’s access arrangements. Confirm any gate permission and receiving instructions with the site contact so the transport handoff is ready when the vehicle arrives.

If the customer’s service contractor will meet the vehicle outside the main facility, agree the safe, suitable location and identify that person. A broad site name is not a complete delivery address.

Follow the movement without losing the work-order reference

Keep the repair or purchase reference consistent through the shipment request and label. Use WTM’s real-time GPS tracking to help coordinate the receiver, then match the available POD and invoice to the order after delivery.

For illustration, a purchaser may arrange direct transport of a prepared bearing and seal kit from Lethbridge. The supplier confirms the kit is complete, the site identifies an authorised receiver, and the hotshot moves that specific order between them.

Is this the same as sending ordinary site consumables by courier?

No. The hotshot arrangement is selected for the urgent dedicated movement. Routine cartons can be quoted separately on the applicable courier service.

Does WTM choose or install the maintenance components?

No. The customer and supplier approve the parts; WTM transports the prepared order to the agreed handoff.

Give WTM the approved order, supplier ready time and Sparwood receiving plan for a direct hotshot quote.

Stay with the shipment from request to delivery

Request a WTM quote online, approve the agreed service and complete the payment step in your Customer Portal. Follow the shipment with real-time GPS tracking, then use the available delivery record, invoice and shipment history to answer questions after the handoff.

For repeat business, ask about the 10% recurring-shipment offer or the separate funded-credit arrangement with up to 25% off eligible services. WTM confirms which arrangement applies to your quote.
