Make a small order ready for a regional collection
The supplier should assemble, pack and identify the consignment before the vehicle arrives. Provide the release contact, order reference and ready time. If collection is from a location outside the town centre, include the actual address or site location and access instructions.
State the number of outer packages, their dimensions and gross weight. WTM needs the space and handling information for the packed order, not an estimate based on the number of retail products or the invoice value.
Use the producer's handling specification
Give the required transport temperature, any non-stackable containers and items that need to remain upright. Distinguish chilled from frozen products. Different local food items do not automatically share one compatible transport instruction.
Prepared packaged goods are the subject of the booking. Product preparation, food grading and deciding whether stock is suitable to move remain with the supplier. Resolve those questions before arranging courier collection.
Help a Calgary buyer receive a new supplier
Include the buyer's name, business location and receiving contact. A first-time supplier order may need more identifying information than a familiar weekly consignment. Add the purchase-order reference so staff can connect the delivery to the correct buyer.
Specify the receiving window and any appointment or unloading requirement. An order entering Calgary should be quoted to its final agreed address, not assumed to include unspecified distribution after reaching the city.
Move from one order to a repeat pattern
A producer developing Calgary accounts can share its usual release days and expected consignment sizes with WTM. Changes in order volume, new buyers or extra stops should be described in the next request. A recurring plan becomes useful when it reflects work that will actually be released.
