Prepare a transport-ready production release
The producer should decide which goods are ready, package them and provide the transport instruction. Give the final carton or tote count, gross weight and outer dimensions. A production quantity alone does not explain the space the packaged order requires.
Use an order reference that appears in the producer's records and is recognised by the buyer. When the buyer arranges collection, send the supplier an authorisation naming WTM and the specific consignment.
Choose a Calgary buyer destination precisely
A first wholesale order may go to a retail receiving door, a test kitchen or a distributor rather than a company office. Confirm the exact address and person who will accept it. Include any appointment or unit details supplied by the buyer.
A producer serving several Calgary accounts needs a list of stops with separate quantities and temperature requirements. Do not assume a quotation for one buyer includes distributing the remainder across the city.
Keep product requirements visible as the load grows
A sample-size order may use a refrigerated Sprinter, while later wholesale volume can require larger equipment. WTM operates refrigerated 5-ton trucks as well as Sprinters, so the discussion can follow the actual load.
List non-stackable packages, upright containers and any different chilled or frozen conditions. Reusing an earlier small-order description after production increases can leave the equipment requirement understated. Update the packed measurements rather than only the sales value.
Make transport part of the customer experience
Agree the service around the producer ready time and buyer receiving window. Track the journey and retain the POD with the wholesale reference. This gives a new account a clear delivery record without turning a transport document into a claim about the product's commercial performance.
For repeat orders, discuss a recurring plan and applicable savings. The portal provides a consistent place to request shipments, review quotes, make payment and find issued records while the producer manages manufacturing and sales separately.

Can a small producer book only a few chilled cartons?
Yes. Supply the package dimensions, weight, product conditions and receiving details for a courier quotation.
