One courier pickup can serve several customer addresses when each order is prepared, identified and matched to its own receiving instructions. WTM Logistics can arrange multi-stop business deliveries from a common collection point, helping a supplier release several orders without organising a separate pickup conversation for each one.

The most useful preparation is a clear order-to-stop list. Send WTM your proposed delivery run with the collection location and the destinations.

Separate the orders before the driver arrives

Allocate a marked space or clearly identified group of packages to each customer. Put that customer’s delivery name and address on every outer package, and keep the package count with the order reference.

Do not group cartons only by product type. Two customers buying the same item still require distinct orders and distinct delivery points.

A simple dispatch sheet might identify stop A as order 104, two cartons, and stop B as order 105, one carton. The references should match the labels that the driver and receivers can actually see.

Identify fixed receiving requirements

Give each stop its own contact, telephone number, opening hours and delivery entrance. Distinguish a booked appointment from a preference for morning delivery.

Provide every confirmed destination before the route is arranged. WTM can then plan the movement around the complete job rather than a sequence of addresses added after departure.

The stop list does not need to prescribe a driving route unless your business has a genuine service dependency. Explain the dependency—for example, a customer receiving before a particular closing time—and let dispatch plan the transportation.

Decide what happens when one order is not ready

Separate released orders from work still being packed. Before the collection, tell WTM which destinations are confirmed and which may need to move later.

If a missing item is packed as a second delivery, identify it as a follow-up shipment. Do not leave an incomplete customer order looking like the complete release unless the recipient has agreed to that arrangement.

The same discipline applies to a last-minute address change. Update dispatch rather than relying on a handwritten note added to one box.

Close each handoff independently

The route is complete only when its individual delivery requirements have been addressed. Keep the proof of delivery connected to the relevant customer and order, not merely to a general note that the vehicle finished its run.

The WTM Customer Portal supports shipment requests, quote approval, online payment and access to delivery records. Use your own dispatch list alongside those records to reconcile the orders released from the warehouse.

Make repeating runs easier to manage

Tell WTM which stops repeat, how often they recur and which change with orders. A regular arrangement may support the 10% recurring-shipment offer.

For quote preparation, see multi-stop courier pricing. That guide addresses the proposal; this checklist prepares the physical handoff.

Arrange the pickup once and keep each customer order clear. Call 587-316-2639 to plan your WTM delivery run.
