WTM Logistics

Alberta · British Columbia · Northwest Territories24/7 Dispatch   587-316-2639

WTM Logistics helps Alberta print shops deliver finished customer orders without taking production staff away from the press, bindery or counter. Send packed brochures, manuals, posters, business stationery and other completed print work to the agreed receiver.

Use courier delivery as the final part of the order—not an improvised trip after the printing is finished.

Quote the finished, packed job

Paper can produce a heavier shipment than the carton size suggests. Give WTM the actual carton count, weights and dimensions once the job is packed.

Protect printed surfaces, corners and edges with packaging appropriate to the finished product. Keep flat items supported and rolled items in suitable protective containers. The form of the finished order determines how it should travel.

Identify long signs, unusually sized packages or palletised print runs separately so the correct equipment can be arranged.

Label the order for the person receiving it

The buyer, designer and receiving receptionist may be different people. Mark the packages with the customer and order reference, then provide the actual receiving contact.

For a multi-carton job, use an identifiable count such as “1 of 3” so the receiver can recognise the complete delivery. Where one collection includes several customers’ orders, keep each destination’s packages clearly separated.

A well-labelled order saves your customer from having to identify anonymous cartons after they arrive.

Set the deadline around use, not just dispatch

Ask when the customer needs the printed materials in hand. A delivery arriving after a training session or mailing preparation window has missed the practical need even if the printing was completed on time.

Tell WTM the ready time and receiving deadline. Scheduled courier can support planned jobs; urgent direct service can be assessed for a last-minute requirement.

For booths and venue setup rather than ordinary finished print orders, see WTM’s separate event and trade-show logistics information.

Make delivery part of the customer experience

Request and approve the quote in the WTM Customer Portal, then use live GPS tracking to follow the movement. Retrieve the POD and invoice afterwards.

For print shops with repeated customer deliveries, discuss a regular collection pattern and 10% off recurring shipments. That gives finished orders a planned way out of the shop instead of depending on whoever has time to drive.

Can WTM collect several customers’ jobs together?

Provide the separate destinations, package allocations and receiving windows so WTM can assess the collection and delivery plan.

Can a customer order go directly from the print shop to their branch?

Yes. Use the actual branch destination and receiver, even when the purchasing office is elsewhere.

You finish the print job. Let WTM finish the delivery. Request your print-order courier quote or call 587-316-2639.
