WTM Logistics provides courier transportation for prepared pet-retail supply orders going to independent shops. Whether a branch needs boxed accessories, packaged non-medicinal products or a customer’s ordered item, the delivery can be arranged without pulling store staff away from the counter.

This article concerns retail supplies—not live-animal transport. Describe the packed goods accurately so the quote matches the shipment.

Request a pet-shop supply courier quote with the supplier, store address, piece count and receiving window.

Separate a customer order from a store replenishment

An accessory needed for a waiting customer may have a different deadline from next week’s regular stock. Identify which orders genuinely need urgent movement and which can fit a recurring collection.

For illustration, a supplier could release one customer’s boxed carrier alongside two cartons of shop accessories. Confirm whether all pieces are ready and going to the same address. Your store should decide how to prioritise the orders before the courier booking is finalised.

Give the actual size and weight

Pet-retail supplies vary from light accessories to dense bags and bulky containers. Measure and weigh the packed shipment instead of assuming that an ordinary product description communicates its handling needs.

Keep products securely contained and label every package. If a replenishment order becomes pallet-sized, WTM’s LTL freight service may be more suitable than a courier-parcel arrangement. Temperature-sensitive goods need their requirements stated separately.

Plan receiving without interrupting the shop floor

Provide the store’s receiving entrance, contact person and suitable delivery window. A retail opening time does not automatically mean staff are ready to unload an order at a rear door.

Tell the supplier who may release the shipment and give WTM the purchase or collection reference. Keep goods for different stores in separately labelled groups when arranging a multi-stop delivery.

Use branch transfers when the stock is already in your business

Sometimes another store has the needed item. A courier can move a prepared transfer between your own locations instead of placing another supplier order solely because staff cannot collect it.

Confirm the product and condition through your retail process, then quote the transportation between the two branches. The driver carries the prepared order; stock allocation and inventory updates remain with the retailer.

Turn repeat shipments into an account routine

Use the WTM Customer Portal for new requests, quote approval, online payments and real-time GPS tracking. Available PODs, invoices and shipment history help staff answer delivery questions after the handoff.

Save 10% on recurring shipments through WTM’s repeat-delivery offer. Businesses using a funded credit account can receive up to 25% off eligible services under that separate arrangement. Match the offer to the account and service being quoted.

Can a wholesaler send directly to our store?

Yes. Provide the released supplier order and your shop’s receiving details when arranging collection.

Does this service carry animals or provide veterinary delivery advice?

No. This topic covers prepared, non-medicinal retail supply orders. Describe any different shipping need separately.

Keep the shop staffed while your supplies move. Call 587-316-2639 for a delivery quote.
