Prepare the restock order before requesting pickup
Identify the goods needed, arrange release with the supplier and obtain the package count, dimensions and weight. Separate the order for the particular vendor or stall before the courier arrives.
If a colleague is packing goods at your business, give them a clear stock list and collection-ready time. The driver should not be choosing products from storage or deciding which display item is running low at the event.
Use the event’s receiving arrangement
Provide the event name, site address and the agreed courier access point. Ask the organiser how deliveries should be received while the market is operating. Vehicle access available during setup may differ from access once visitors are present.
Name an available person who can accept the stock. That might be the vendor, a team member or an organiser at a designated receiving point. A stall number alone is not always a complete vehicle-access or handoff instruction.
Choose the latest useful delivery time
An order needed for the current market day has a different deadline from stock intended for tomorrow’s trading. Include enough information for WTM to quote the service against the real requirement.
For illustration, a vendor may arrange a prepared carton replenishment while a colleague remains at the stall. The receiving plan should identify who meets the delivery without leaving the business unattended. That practical handoff can be more important than treating the venue entrance as the final destination.
Describe product and handling needs accurately
Provide the shipment as packed and identify fragile, bulky or temperature-sensitive goods. Food products require the conditions established for those products; a general market-delivery label does not make every item suitable for ambient transport.
Where refrigeration is needed, request the appropriate temperature-controlled courier service. Large display units or equipment should be quoted separately from ordinary boxed stock. WTM’s service selection should follow the actual goods and event access requirements.
Keep repeat market deliveries organised
The WTM Customer Portal supports quote approval, online payment, live GPS tracking and access to available PODs and invoices. Use shipment history to refer to earlier event locations and the package sizes you normally send.

Can stock be collected from a home-based workshop?

Can unsold stock be collected after the event?
Request that return movement separately with its ready time, package count and authorised collection point. The restock delivery does not automatically include teardown or return transport.
