WTM Logistics · Courier · Northbound
WTM can arrange courier transportation of a packed personal parcel from Lethbridge to Calgary. This can help when belongings, a gift or another suitable item need to reach someone without a separate intercity trip. Describe what is being sent, prepare secure packaging and make sure someone is authorised to release and receive it.

Confirm who is holding the item
The booking customer may not be at the pickup address. Ask the friend, relative, business or other holder to confirm that the item is there and ready. Give WTM that person’s name and number rather than only the number of the person paying for transport.
A courier is not a search service. Resolve ownership and permission before booking a forgotten item. If the holder needs identification or a release reference, arrange the procedure so the driver can complete an authorised collection.
Pack before measuring and quoting
Put loose belongings into a suitable closed box or protective case. Add cushioning where needed and provide outside dimensions, gross weight and piece count. A list of contents alone does not tell dispatch whether the consignment is one small parcel or several bulky cases.
Mention batteries, liquids, perishables and unusually valuable or fragile contents. WTM can review the appropriate service using the actual item description. Do not send a temperature-sensitive product as an undeclared ordinary parcel or assume loose furniture fits a courier booking.
Set an achievable handoff on arrival
Give the Calgary receiver’s exact address and access information. Apartment entries, office receptions and private homes may require different arrangements. Agree whether the intended person or an authorised substitute will accept the package.
If the receiver needs the item before travelling, state when it must be in their hands. WTM will assess the available courier or direct option; a sender’s hoped-for travel connection does not itself establish an accepted delivery commitment.
Understand what a delivery record confirms
After the agreed handoff, the POD records delivery information. It does not replace the sender’s own list of possessions, determine ownership or evaluate a gift’s contents. Retain the transport reference for questions about the movement.
For illustration, a relative sending a forgotten work bag should first verify its contents with the owner, pack it and confirm the Calgary receiving arrangement. Those simple decisions make the request much more useful than a message asking someone to pick up whatever was left behind.
Personal-parcel questions
Do I have to be a commercial shipper?
No. WTM can review a suitable personal courier request using the same clear pickup, package and delivery details.
Can I book a same-day arrival?
State the ready time and deadline. WTM confirms whether the route and available service can meet them before accepting the booking.
