WTM can collect packed testing instruments in Innisfail or Penhold and deliver them to a Calgary service or testing facility. This courier arrangement helps field-service businesses send the equipment they need assessed without assigning an employee to the road trip. The key is a complete instrument package, an accepted receiving appointment and a transport record that matches the service job.

Confirm that the laboratory or workshop is expecting it

Obtain the receiving facility’s job reference and correct goods-delivery address. A company’s sales office may not be the location that accepts instruments. Ask which accessories must accompany the unit and whether there is a latest intake time.

Describe the purpose as a delivery to an authorised receiver, not a promise of immediate testing. WTM controls the transportation arrangement; the facility controls its service queue, technical assessment and turnaround commitment.

Record the equipment that changes hands

List the instrument model or asset number and the number of transport cases. Include probes, chargers, leads or adapters only as instructed by the receiving facility, and keep them secured inside the prepared case. Photograph or record your own inventory before sealing it.

Use a protective case appropriate to the instrument. Disclose fragile components, batteries or other special conditions while obtaining the quote. Do not assume that the everyday use of a device means every packed configuration can travel on the same terms.

Describe the collection site precisely

A Penhold office pickup and a field pickup outside Innisfail can require different access arrangements. Supply the actual road address or approved gate, a useful location pin where needed and a contact who will have the instrument ready.

The collection point should be safe and accessible for the agreed vehicle. When work crews move during the day, nominate a stable handoff location instead of sending dispatch a moving target or relying on an unattended case at a gate.

Separate the southbound delivery from the return

The service facility may not know when the instrument will be released until it has assessed the job. Book the initial delivery against its intake window, then arrange the return once the completed equipment is ready.

Retain the original case count and asset reference in the WTM Customer Portal shipment record. The POD supports the transport handoff; certificates, test results and repair reports come from the facility. These records serve different purposes and should not be confused.

Does this service include calibration or testing?

No. WTM transports prepared equipment to the nominated facility. Testing, calibration and any certificate are supplied by that facility.

Can a rural business arrange collection?

Yes. Provide the exact accessible collection point, case measurements, weight and a person available to release the shipment.

Arrange the instrument’s journey with WTM and the technical appointment with your service provider.
