Courier delivery can help a local fundraising team distribute prepared product orders without asking volunteers to handle every trip themselves. WTM Logistics can quote transport from the collection point to supporters or an agreed group receiving location.

Request a fundraising-order delivery quote with the real package count, destinations and required dates. This is a commercial courier arrangement for sold products; no special nonprofit discount is implied by the booking.

Finish the order allocation before collection

Separate each supporter’s order and label the outer packaging with the confirmed delivery details. Use an order reference your organising team can recognise without exposing unnecessary personal information.

Check that the piece count matches the allocation list. A box labelled for one household should not contain another supporter’s items because the orders were divided hurriedly when the driver arrived. Preparing the allocation is the organiser’s job, not a sorting task left to the courier.

Choose individual delivery or a group handoff

A central collection point can create a different transport requirement from deliveries to many separate addresses. Decide which arrangement your supporters have agreed to before requesting the quote.

For example, an organising team could receive all prepared cartons at one venue for later distribution, or arrange individually labelled doorstep deliveries. Neither plan is automatically better; the quote should reflect the actual stops, package sizes and receiving requirements.

Confirm receiving details with supporters

Obtain complete addresses, unit numbers, recipient names and contact information. Tell supporters the agreed delivery arrangement and ask for any access instructions needed for their building or workplace.

Do not assume that a supporter who bought a product will be home throughout the day. Include a receiving plan for the selected service and explain any changes to WTM before dispatch. A volunteer’s informal knowledge of the neighbourhood is not a substitute for usable driver instructions.

Describe the products and their packaging

Provide weights and dimensions for the finished packages. Fragile products need suitable preparation, and food products should be assessed against their actual transport requirements rather than treated as ordinary ambient parcels by default.

When refrigeration is required, describe it in a temperature-controlled service request. A general fundraising label does not tell the courier what conditions the products need during the journey.

Keep a record of completed delivery

Use the WTM Customer Portal for quote approval, payment and real-time GPS tracking. Available PODs help the coordinator establish which booked deliveries reached their receiving points. Keep courier shipment references beside the organiser’s order list.

The delivery records support distribution tracking; they are not donation receipts or evidence of how funds should be accounted for. Your organisation keeps its own sales and fundraising records separately.

Does WTM collect product payments from supporters?

Do not assume collection of product payments is part of the courier service. Arrange sales payment through your organising process and book transportation for the prepared orders.

Can one group location receive all orders?

Yes. Provide the receiving contact and complete shipment dimensions and weights so that single handoff can be quoted correctly.

Give your volunteers a delivery plan they can coordinate. Call 587-316-2639 to quote your prepared fundraising orders with WTM.
